William's POV
I sighed, fixing the button on my suit before placing on my tuxedo jacket.
It's been a day since we've gotten back in Oakham. Also been a day since Alexandra and I already talked.
But it seems like the only thing we've been doing is arguing. Over stupid shit.
I was wrong. I thought I could just try to forget Alexandra, but I can't. No matter what I do, who I'm with, she always crosses my mind.
And I suck. At being a boyfriend. Let alone trying to be a father.
I wish Alexandra could understand that. I was brought back to reality when the door opening caught my attention.
"Your limo is outside, sir", Tim said.
"Thank you", I say as I was getting ready to go to a traditional family dinner with my mother, Chuck, Luke and surprisingly Alex.
Who hasn't been out of her room since morning. Probably to avoid me.
"How do I look?", I asked turning to Tim asking for his opinion.
"How you always look, sir. Handsome", he says.
I walked out my room, following Tim down the Long hallway, as I walked down the stairs.
I noticed mother and chuck sitting around the kitchen bar.
"You look handsome, Will", Chuck complimented me.
"I get the looks from my father", I say immediately noticing my mother shifting in her seat and the change of movement of her hands.
"Could she be any longer?", the voice of Luke said walking into the kitchen, pouring himself a glass of water.
"Be patient", Chuck said. "I'm sorry— I couldn't decide if I should wear the pink dress or the lacy dress", the voice of Alexandra said grabbing all of attention.
We all turned to see Alexandra, in a stunning lacy dress that fitted her perfectly, showing her curves and her smooth glowing skin.
Her face, light of makeup. Her skin, glowing. Her dress, almost see through. Her lips, full of volume. Her hair, layered properly behind her shoulders.
God she looked beautiful. I wish I could tell her. I wanted to tell her.
Screw it. I'm going to tell her.
"You look beautiful", the words I wanted to say taken away from me by Luke who said to Alexandra.
She smiled, "thanks", she say. "Alright— if we don't leave now, we're gonna miss reservations", Chuck added.
I watched as Alexandra followed behind my mother and Chuck. I stopped Luke to speak to him for a second.
"What do you think your doing?", I asked him. "What do you mean?", he asked acting as if he had no clue what I was talking about.
"I mean you and Alexandra. I've seen the way you look at her, and how close you two are getting. she— out of all people are off limits", I tell him.
"I don't think that's how it works. You can't claim someone", he said.
"I just did. Stay away from Alexandra or I'll you wish you did", I threatened him.
"I just think your afraid", he smirked. "Of you?", I asked as smirk appeared on my face, as I crossed my arms.
"that. And the fact that you're afraid that Alexandra might actually began liking me, and loose interest in you", he says.
"W-what? This has nothing to do about the way I feel about her, and by the way she'd never like you", I say.
"I don't know man. I'm kind of her escape. You know when you fucked up or hurt her, I'm there to heal her, and help her", he smirking getting right under my skin.
"I don't know. Just stay away from her, got it?", I asked him.
"No", he said. "what?", I asked. "No- it's not my fault you guys have a fucked up relationship. How I see it, if anything it's your fault. But I thank you, because if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't know how her perfect, full and soft lips taste", he said making my blood boil.
"What did you just say to me?", I asked approaching him, as he raised his hands backing up.
"Enough- both of you. In the limo, now", Tim said.
I breathed heavily, fixing my tux. Inhaling and exhaling deeply. Before walking outside, after watching Luke get inside, I got inside of the limo.
I sat across from Alexandra, who had her leg crossed over on other, playing with her fingers, looking outside the window.

"You look beautiful", Luke said meeting my by the end of the stairs.
"Thanks", was all I could say, from the fact that him and I weren't alone, even through there wasn't much for him and I to discuss.
"Alright— if we don't leave now, we're gonna miss reservations", Chuck added.
I nodded, following behind Chuck and Victoria, as I turned to Luke and William to notice they stayed back.
I got into the limo, placing on my seatbelt and turning to the window, listening to Chuck and Victoria's conversation.
"William's Birthday is coming up in a couple of day. What should we do?", Victoria asked Chuck.
William's Birthday. I didn't even know his birthday.
"I don't know. How about you, Alexandra. Do you know what we should do for Williams birthday?", Chuck asked me.
"Um- When him and I were together, we used to talk about places we wanted to travel to- together. He's never been to Italy, so I guess that could be a good birthday gift to give him.", I say.
"Italy it is", Chuck said pulling out his phone. I turned back to the window, as suddenly Luke got into the limo, moments later followed behind him was William.
It was weird how things were between us. I told him to do him, but I know I don't want him doing all those things.
I love him. And it sucks because I shouldn't love him.
I slightly turned my head towards him, to catch him already looking at me. Neither of us looked away each other which made it awkward for the passengers around us.
I think this is the longest him and I made eye contact without talking.
He slightly smiled as if him and I were cool or something, but we weren't.
I turned back to the window, leaning my head against the seat. As the limo slowly began to drive.
