ARI POV:

I was getting ready for Max to take me out, I didn't fully understand if it was a date.. I mean Max was always the one willing to settle down , where as her hoe ass cousin Jenyla ( yeh they related), always fucking bitches and shit. Although Max is my friend -a really good friend- , me and her have been getting even closer as she the only one that knows about Reece. I ain't ever seen Max in that way, I mean don't get me wrong .. SHE BEYOND FINE , but she my friend and I've known her forever.

I got dressed in my Red button up shirt and some white jeans, with my black 23s. I had straightened my hair since I was feeling special, straightened my self out in the mirror. I take a good long look along with flipping my hair to the side. I raise my eyebrow and chuckle to my self, before grabbing my phone. I unlocked and saw a text from Dom.

Dom🤑: yo babygirl yo coo
Ari🎒: yeh wassup
Dom🤑: nah haven't heard from you in a min just checking up on you
Ari🎒: lml cute, I'm fine Ima bout to go out

Dom🤑: w/ who
Ari🎒: one of my friends that's all
Dom🤑: oh ight coo, well text me later
Ari🎒: bet

I laugh to my self and slide my phone into my back pocket. I haven't seen Dom in about a week anyway, It was cool for her too check up on me though, it was cute to. Me and Dom have been close due to the whole Reece situation. Me, Leo and Dom were  all there for each other, when we needed each other the most. Leo and me are really cool and her Girlfriend is really nice. But the relationship me and Dom have built is pretty special.. the way she treats me and always looks out for me made me feel safe but at the same time a baby, cuz I'm not that younger than them. I guess I'll swing by Dom tomorrow as she misses me so much.

I skip downstairs and notice Max through the window, a smile appears on my face and I grab my jacket and head out.  She leans against her car and grins, I playfully roll my eyes and stumble to the car." Come on hoe jump in" she mumbles and she walks around to the other side. I scoff and act all surprised as I wanted the passenger seat" Maxine I'm offended " I pout, she smiles and glares at me.

Max looked good, with her smart ass clothes and I found her height really attractive to, she looked good in her bottom up and slacks. It was nice to see one day Max can come in something different than a Track suit. Her dreads fell perfectly aside her shoulders bringing out the hazel in her eyes. I smiled at how good she looked and she grinned.

"I was joking b, you look good tonight" she complimented, I flick my hair doing a girly impression as I pout my lips and shit" I mean yo already know" , I say before we both burst into laughter. She starts the car and pulls off.

We arrive at a cute little restaurant , outside of town I jumped out the car in awe and looked back at Max. " Max.." I longed out her name. It was restaurant my mom took me to for my eighth birthday party. I remember that party very well, that I ain't ever gon forget.

"I know the memories " she said as she shoved her hands in her pockets as she stood tall next to me, I glare over at her and she smiles, I couldn't get enough of her pearly whites.. they were shiny and brightened up beautiful brown skin. I giggled as I played with my sleeve. "Let's go in". I say softly, along with a smile.

I walk In and she trails behind me. The waitress appointed us to our table and we sat. The restaurant had the same bing tags featured from when I was last here, which was forever ago. After about 10 mins we had revived our food and we were having a good time. I never understood why Max took me out, but I didn't care I was having a good time with her. It was real special and cute. I guess I kind understand why she brought me here, I played with my food and sniggered at the thought of it."what she mumbled" before wiping her mouth and leaving her gorgeous smile after.
