I kind of ship Jesstra but can't seem to come up with a headcanon where they're actually together XDD

So y'all probably remember my original sad Jesstra headcanon (if not then it's SOMEWHERE in this book ok) 

And you probably know the headcanon that I usually use (where Jesse is asexual)

WELL

What if

Petra is lesbian for Jesse, but knows that she doesn't have crushes and would never be interested in a relationship. Because of this, she never confesses and lives mostly-contently in the friendzone. Petra watches as the rest of her friendships slowly fall apart, but her crush never fades. As she sinks deeper into darkness, Jesse continues to assure her that she'll always be by her side...because they're 'super close friends'. Nothing more. They can never be more. Though the life she knows is quickly crumbling out of her grasp and she's breaking apart, Petra's still determined to keep her crush on Jesse a secret, because what's the point of hoping for something that can never be?

Also I have a Very Morbid headcanon that Petra self-harms, because in every design of her so far, both wrists have been safely covered, either by her glove or that sleeve-thing. It will definitely never be canon, but with the way she's been acting in season two...I don't think it's that hard to believe.

As worried as I am about my precious sad fiery bby...I really like torturing her hehe
