Because Mom and I have similar tastes in movies. If she didn't like it, I probably won't either. And I want to continue to exist in the series, where Wash is ok.

Firefly was originally gonna be a full series, but the show got cancelled, so it's just one season and I nEED MORE

And Zoe
Zoe is awesome

But wow so is Inara

I know. But he's kind of unlikable. He's very insensitive, and can be a little too rude or blunt sometimes. Also he does some really dumb shit, and sometimes it's heroic, and sometimes it's just dumb shit. He gets himself into way too much trouble for stupid reasons.

And yet I like Jayne.

Oh, Jayne. How do I even describe him??

Take genderbent Petra and stick him on a spaceship with a crew of smugglers. And also he's obsessed with guns instead of swords.
There. That's literally Jayne.
He even has a gun with a name (Vera)
And a special hat that's kind of like Petra's bandanna

But he's not always the smartest of the crew

I mean he's not a complete moron, but compared to Kaylee and Zoe and Inara...yeah he's kind of an idiot

And gorrammit, River is so cool
She is hilarious sometimes, kind of because she's...not in her right mind
