I'm on my way to Tito Seff's house. I am late but I don't really mind. The problem is the traffic so I can't do anything but wait, parang hindi pa sila nasanay sa akin.
I was jamming with my vibe playlist when I saw a man-figure from the outside that really looks familiar.
What an asshole! The freakin' feeling handsome Erik is in the country. I raised my eyebrow as I saw him walk in the pedestrian lane all smiling with his little bitch. I know her, she's a Filipina worker in Erik's work place too.
Scared of long distance relationships huh.
Baba sana ako sa sasakyan ko ng biglang may bumusina sa likod ko. Napatingin ako sa traffic light. Green na pala. 'Wag ka lang talaga magpapakita sa kaibigan ko dahil mali-lintik-an ka sa'kin. Akala mo naman gwapo mukha namang paa.
You deserve to know this Ixy but not now. I sighed as I remembered how many secrets I have.
"Hello Girls! " I shout as I enjoy my grand entrance.
"Why are you so noisy..." She sneered at me. "... and late?"
"You're too early for that, where are the others?" sabi ko sabay upo sa tabi niyo.
"Si Tito Seff may kausap sa phone. Yung dalawa naghahanda ng makakain."
"Then you, why are you here?"
"Kasi baka kung saan saan ka daw makarating pag wala kang naabutan dito."
Natawa naman ako dahil doon at napatango. She's absolutely right, if I didn't see her here then maybe I'll go home. It's too tiring to wait, so I choose to be late. I let out a heartful laugh, too brilliant.
"Oh ba't natawa 'yang si Asha?" Biglang sulpot naman ng dalawa na may dalang dalawang tray.
"Baliw ata.." masungit na sagot ni Lauren.
I heard Zandra's chuckle then moved her gaze to me. "Eh bakit ka nga natawa? "
Napaisip naman ako. Bakit nga ba ako natawa? "Wala lang.." Kibit-balikat kong sagot na ikinatawa naman ni Ixy, kararating lang rin. May hawak itong isang tray ng mga baso.
I remove my gaze from her then look sideways. I'm so sorry Ixy I really want to tell you this but I think this is not the right time. I'm so sorry if I'm keeping a secret again.
"Oh bakit ka naman natawa?" Nagpipigil ng tawa nasabi ni Zandra.
"Wala lang din." At do'n tumawa kaming tatlo ng sabay sabay.
"You know what girls?" Lauren said between our laughs.
"What?" Ixy ask as she put the glasses on the center table
"One word to describe all of you."
"And that is?" Zandra is now munching on her favorite snuck.
"Crazy." Nagkatingin kaming tatlo upang hindi magsalita o magpakita ng reaksyon.
"Ayan na naman kayo eh. Feeling ko tuloy pinagtatawanan niyo ko. " She pouted. Tumawa ulit kaming tatlo dahil don.
"Just kidding,"
"Hi ladies!" Napatingin naman kami sa nagsalita.
"Hi Tito, why did it take you so long? " I hissed, then lay down on the sofa.
"I just do something so you can enroll in your new school."
"Oh, how tiring." Lauren commented.
"Yeah so let's not talk about it. " I smell something not good. "So how's your vacation with your family?" Tito Seff said as he changed the topic.
Then it made me serious. Why do you need to ask?
"Ughh!!! Bitin." Zandra yelled and pouted her lip. I look at her, she has a sweet and loving family.
"Not bad..." Sabay na sagot namin ni Lauren kaya napatingin ako sa kanya at ganon din siya sakin. And I can understand what's her feeling right now. I think we understand each other. Oh don't pity us.
Napagawi ako ng tingin ng biglang tumawa si Zandra. Buti pa sya masaya.
"Why are you laughing?" Kunot-noo kong tanong.
"Wala nakakatawa lang kayo kasi sabay na sabay.. Wahahahahaha....." I just rolled my eyes. Palibhasa masaya ka. Napabuntong hininga naman ako at kinalma ang sarili. Oh she's a good citizen, don't be bitter. Halatang walang patutunguhan ang buhay.
Naramdaman ni Tito and awkwardness namin so siya na ang nagsalita na. "How about you Trixie?"
She put her hand on her chin. "It was good, being with my family is the best thing. Kaya I'm so thankful because you gave us a chance to be with them... but I can't just be happy because he broke up with me. Kasi kung mahal niya talaga ako dapat hindi ako umiiyak, dapat hindi ako nalulungkot at hindi ko dapat kailangan mag move on." Zandra hug her and calm her. "That's the best thing you should do for now Ixy." Sumang-ayon ako sa sinabi niya.

"Stop the drama come on guys.." Natatawang sabi naman ni Lauren kaya napatawa kami. We heard a ring from a phone. I abruptly checked mine but it's not.
I shake my head, the same goes with others. Tito's forehead creased as he checked the name caller. Suspicious and smelly, hmm. He stood up before answering the call. "Hello"
I just watch him with my eyes when he looks at us. "I'm so sorry it's my just wait here alright? " We nodded.
We look so confuse. Pagdating ni Tito ay salubong ang kilay at seryoso siya.
"What happened to you Tito? " Si Zandra.
"Why do you look so serious?" Ixy suddenly puts her hand to her chin as if she's investigating something.
But he didn't bother to answer them or even look at them.
"Focus girls we need to have a plan." Napatigil naman ako sa pagkalikot ng cellphone dahil sa sinabi ni Tito.
"Why Tito?" Tanong ni Zandra.
"Because of what you did girls, pinaghahanap na tayo."
"What do you mean?" Ixy, who sounds so relaxed.
"Dahil sa nalaman nila ang ginawa niyo ay nag suicide ang anak nito at pinapahanap kayo para patayin." Nagulat ako doon at biglang kinabahan.
"Just because of that?" Kunwaring tumawa pa ako.
"Stop being sarcastic here." Seryosong sabi ni Zandra.
"Whatever," I whispered at hindi na nila ako pinansin.
"So what's the plan?" Lauren said.
"We need to escape. I think the best thing to do is to disguise yourself if we can't hide. Marami silang hawak kaya mag-ingat kayo---tayo." Tito said seriously so I can't help but bite my lower lip to make a straight line.
What's funny Tasha? ARGH! Napatingin naman sila sakin kaya mabilis akong umiwas. I pouted my lips.
"Disguise?" Ixy
"What kind of disguise?" Zandra
"Magiging nerd kayo." Hindi ko na talaga mapigilan ang hindi tumawa.
"Nerd?" Tumawa ako ng malakas. "Wow..... The four nerds are gangsters."
