Life isn't a cakewalk it often will give challenges,
You have to go through all emotions available and learn how to balance it,
There's love and there's pain,
Grief and there's change, sunshine and then rain,
No one day is the same,
You have to learn how to adjust when things come your way,
You may think you have it mastered then suddenly things change,
For it's hard to predict life even if you plan it,
Because we don't control our fates we're just along for the ride,
Controlling only a limited part of what we're allowed to,
That's feelings, emotions, actions, the basics,
We don't control the weather nor politics, intervention nor opposites,
We try to control our kids behavior and what they're doing,
The jobs we have and keeping a roof over our heads,
We don't control leaving our house and minutes later you're dead,
That's life unpredictable we just live it to the fullest
Not knowing when our time will come or what's next,
All we can do is take good with the bad and use it to grow smarter,
Not quit on ourselves and continue moving forward,
We might not control life but I'll fight for mine until it's my time to depart.
