The barricade around your heart that I've axed at and chiseled,
Rains frostbite from the ice that lay dormant,
Leaving you numb unable to feel,
So even if you had something special you wouldn't know it
Since you've been frozen things have changed,
You no longer know yourself,
So you must now rediscover the person you were before,
After coming out of this hibernation state
It's time for you to feel again,
Know what it's like to be touched,
Feel the softness of lips pressed against your own,
It's time to live again
You've spent enough time in your shell,
It's time to show the light that's been missing,
So live,
And let yourself be free once more.
