To be held within the arms of salvation,
And know that you're safe

Comforted in a way that you only saw in a dream,
Deep within the pit of your imagination,
Where you've especially designed your type of love,
Whether is warm and heart stopping

Or simple yet mind blowing,
Have you ever?
Wanted something so bad,
That you reach out only for it to be unrealistic

A mirage that evades the touch you hope to place,
Have you ever?
Wanted someone or something so bad,
That they haunted your wildest dreams

Yet became the very reason you slept,
Making your cares and fears float away,
As gentle as a feather in the breeze,
Yet when you awake it's back to reality

Have you ever wanted love?
That would make you forget the pain,
For in that moment it's no more rain,
Just sunshine and brightness

Where paradise and bliss,
Correlate to make the perfect combination,
And you're literally walking on clouds,
With your head in the sky
