Tell me what you expect within the realm of reality,
Not dreams, wishes, or hopes, money or even salary,
Tell me about love, your heart, and all it's fallacies,
So I can determine what I can offer in this realityDon't say you expect seven figures if you don't bring it yourself,
Don't say you wanna be pampered if you don't care for my health,
Don't say you want something real if you can't keep it real with yourself,
You're expecting something you're not how is that fair, I need helpYour expectations supercede what you can offer within the time,
But I live in reality not the dream land of your mind,
I can always have your back and keep you stable your spine,
And build from the ground up with you as we both get on the grindWe can construct our own empire that benefits us both,
That's what I call reality it's important you know that most,
I don't expect something from you that I know you can't gross,
So please do that for me and we'll continue to grow closeBecause it seems to be a fine line between reality and expectations,
You want me to give you the world and all of my dedication,
While you search for something different that you follow in mesmerization,
And sit flat on your a** doing nothing that measures flagrantSo don't expect from me what you can't offer in life,
It's something that shouldn't be said you know it's only right,
But then again there's others who know this in their sight,
And if you're them I'm speaking to you'll soon see the light. That expectations should match what you can actually give in reality.
