Still Time

A tainted image of us that needs to be revitalized,

Happiness placed back in frame where we once stood,

Not fighting it out in court with everything being itemized,

With children picking sides and everything's misunderstood

We're both supposed to be adults, talking isn't that hard,

But we've since become kids illiterate to the fact,

Not setting a good example to the ones that are our stars,

But instead showing through us we are everything that they lack

Two individuals that can't put personal aside for family,

Treasure what's most important in raising our kids right,

Instead of seeking materials and doing it so candidly,

Teaching that over simple anything's worth a fight

Cropping the bigger picture where we are now apart,

No more of us smiling sharing wonderful time,

Feeling down and discouraged weighing down on my heart,

Can we please stop this now because to fix us there's still time.
