We have made a list of the people we have harmed and to whom we hope to make amends.
"I'm bored." Brendon was sprawled across his boyfriend's chest. Chewing on something cherry flavored as Ryan read a book he didn't like. They finished their first book together last night. They'd have to get a new one today because he refused to read a word of the Sherlock Holmes novel.
"Poor baby." Clearly Ryan was only half listening to him whine. "There's probably seats open in art today."
He considered it. It would be better than laying there watching him read. "I think Patrick and Pete are doing art."
Ryan closed his book. "Would you like to go?"
"Yes." Immediately he sits up. Excited for the change of events. And then it occurs to him. "But it's visitor's day."
"My dad has a work thing today. He's not going to make it."
"Yay!" Ryan laughed when Brendon literally hopped off the bed. Clapping his hands together like a child. "Come on. Get up. Let's go."
"Put some pants on first."
"Right." He rushed to his side of the room.
"Wouldn't want to have to break someone's nose for staring at your ass."
"Please." He chuckled as he slid his pants up his legs. "You couldn't break a glass plate."
"Oh ha ha. Put on your tasteless slides so we can leave."
"Tasteless?"
"Tasteless." He nodded.
"I'll have you know-"
"Brendon Urie?" They were interrupted by the tall counselor in the doorway. "You have a visitor."
What? "Who?"
"Who else?" Okay, but the sassy eye roll from the man wasn't necessary. "I was just told to get you to the cafeteria." He spun on his heels and stalked away.
"Damn. Who pissed in his cereal this morning." Brendon laughed.
"Why is he still visiting you?" Ryan wasn't in the mood for their teasing banter anymore.
"I don't know." He answered honestly. "I broke it off."
"Well," Ryan dusted non existent particles from his hands. "Break it off better this time." He was mad. Brendon could tell he was mad. In typical Ryan fashion he looked prepared to storm out instead of talking about it.
"Ryan." Brendon touched his arm and he yanked it away.
"Fix it." He left. Of course he left.
Ryan's anger was contagious today it seemed. Because now Brendon was a little pissed off. Whatever Dallon wanted better be really important. He couldn't afford more slip ups. They just started being happy again. He and his ex fiancé ended things on a great note. What else could he want from him?
The first thing he noticed when he entered the cafeteria was the small amount of people visiting today. The second thing he noticed was that Dallon wasn't sitting down. He wasn't quite pacing but he did seem to be holding in some kind of energy. He was wringing his hands. Something he normally only did when he was nervous. Brendon felt his own anger switch into nervousness.
