Chapter 35

~Ok, big time skip of one year and two weeks. She's eleven and a half now. Sorry, I need to speed things up a bit!~

Charlotte's POV

I was sat in Tiana's cafe with Jaz and Gabbie for Gabbie's birthday, and we were all eating ice cream. I had cookie dough, Jaz had chocolate, and Gabbie had bubble gum. "How blue is my tongue now?" She asked, sticking her tongue out to us. Jaz and I giggled and I replied, "As blue as the Auradon Prep logo!" She giggled too and I chewed on a piece of cookie dough that I had gotten.

"Having fun, girls?" Tiana's son, Terry, asked us as he walked by to clear the table next to us. "Yeah, thanks Terry. Do you think I could get three more scoops of this to go please?" I replied, pointing at my now empty ice cream. He laughed and nodded his head, "Sure thing, kitten." Everyone calls me that now, except Jaz who calls me C. I quite like it to be honest. The girls asked for the same and we picked up our billion and one bags from the floor. "C, please?" Jaz whined, looking at the bags. I sighed and nodded before casting a spell. "These bags are too much to handle, send then to the tower at the castle."

They disappeared to my bedroom as Terry came back with three tubs of ice cream. "Ok, onw for the kitten, one for the sultana (sultans wife) to be, and one for the birthday tiger. Enjoy girls!" He smiled, giving us the ribs. Everyone calls me kitten now, it's cool. Well, Jaz still calls me C, but that's cool too. "Bye, Terry!" We all smiled together before giggling and walking away. "Let's go to River Island, I want some new jeans! And we need to find dresses for the Auradon Prep Christmas dance!" Gabbie told us. I rolled my eyes and Jaz looked at me with a smirk. "Come on, C, you need to get ready!"

"We still have two months! And besides, why are we even going when we don't have dates?"

"Lies! Didn't Joseph ask you?" Gabbie asked. "Ew, gross! He's sixteen, tiger!" I squealed as we walked into the shop. Unfortunately, I spotted Joseph by the suits section. "Whiskers! Help me!" I whispered, pointing. They looked over and went wide eyed before pushing me up the stairs to the dress section. "Oh my god, he must be stalking me!" I muttered as the girls picked dresses.

They giggled and Jaz pulled out a dress. "What do you think of this, C? Seeing as you're doing nothing." She asked, holding it to her body. (blue above) I looked at it and smiled. "I like that. Go try it on." She nodded and went over to the changing room whilst Gabbie tried different colours. I just sat there eating the rest of my ice cream, and chewing on cookie dough. "Ugh, this is impossible! Help me, kitten!" Gabbie soon whined. I laughed and put my now empty tub down before going over to help her.

We searched for ages, but couldn't find much. Jaz had decided on that dress and was now helping us. "What colour do you even want, tiger?" I asked her as I looked through a rack of green dresses. "Any will do!" She called back from her rack of yellow. I nodded and went back to searching, but felt someone grab my waist. Only two people do that, and I know Kono isn't here. "Get off me, Joseph!" I said through gritted teeth as I picked up a dress. He chuckled and moved to the side. "Hey, kitten. What you up to?" He asked with a smile, making me glare. Over the years, Jo has gotten really annoying, and I still can't forgive him for what he did...

Flash back

Charlotte's POV

"Give it back, Jo!" I shouted as I raced through the castle halls. Joseph had taken my.mothers spell book, again, and had run off with it. "Not if you catch me first, kitten!" He caled back, turning a corner. I groaned and ran faster, trying to keep up.

Just give up and come to Wonderland, away from him.

Ugh, not the time! I finally caught up to him, but it was too late. "Joseph, no!" I screamed as he dropped my mothers book in the lake. "No!" I yelled before falling to the ground in tears. He quickly realised his mistake and used his dads old staff to fish it out. But it was too late;the book was ruined. All my mothers writing was washed up and illegible, the pages soaked and ripping.

"Charlotte, I never meant-" He started before I cut him off. "You never meant what, Joseph? Never meant to ruin the book? Never meant to destroy the last thing I had of my real family? Never meant to lose my trust and respect for you? Because you did and have. Don't ever talk to me again, Joseph Frost." I took my book and ran away from hon, tears in my eyes as my dress flew out from the wind. I hate him. I really do hate him.

End flash back.

"I'll never forgive you." I muttered, tears in my eyes as I walked away to Gabriella. She had seen the whole thing and put her arm over me as I let the tears slip. The book thing may have been a year ago, but I'm true to my word and will never forgive him.

"Here, I think this would suit you." I smiled at Gabbie after a moment, handing her the green dress (above). She smiled and hugged me as she replied, "Thanks, kitten. And don't listen to him, he's just jealous that Kono got to you first!" I pushed her playfully as she went to the changing rooms and then walked to Jaz who had just finished giving Joseph a death speech. "Thanks, Jaz." I smiled as she hugged me. "No problem, you're like a sister to me. And sisters stick together." She replied happily.

We picked up the few bags we now had and went to the changing room to see what Gabbie looked like. "Oh my genie! Gabbie you look amazing!" Jaz exclaimed when she came out and showed us. "Really? It's not too much?" She asked. I shook my head and replied, "Nothing is too much! And I bet you £1000 that Kameron will love it!" She looked in the mirror and frowned slightly. "You sure?" She asked.

Jaz and I looked at each other before walking either side of her and replying in sync, "Positive." Gabbie smiled and hugged us before changing back so we could pay. "Thanks, you guys. I'd definitely be lost without you!" She smiled as we walked to the tills. "No problem, tiger. Now we just need to find Miss 'I-Hate-All-Dresses-Here' an outfit and we can go." Jaz replied, nudging me slightly.

I sighed and nudged her back. "Jaz, I have half the outfit at home. I just need a skirt and some tights. Preferably a purple skirt and some black tights." The girls nodded and linked arms with me before we walked down to the skirts section. "Remember, purple skirt. And don't be stupid and have one if those that touch the freaking floor!" I told them as I walked over to some skirts. They were purple, but they were too bright for my liking. "Hey, is velvet ok?" I heard the two ask. I nodded and turned to see them running over with the exact same skirts in their hands. "Um, guys...." I trailed off, pointing at the skirts.

They looked at each other and we all laughed before I looked at the clothing properly. "It's cute. I just need some tights now." I smiled, taking one from them and walking over to the tights rack-half thing. I picked up the last pair of opaque black tights and went to pay. "Are we done here now? Gabbie has her jeans and her dress, so do you, and I have my outfit." I asked Jaz. She nodded and we all walked out. "Oh, can we go to Wonderlanderful please? I wanna see if I can get my pocket watch back." I asked them.

Jaz gasped slightly and I stopped and looked at her. "Spill." I told her, my eye brow raised. She smiled at me and replied, "Well, you see......" She trailed off, walking backwards slightly. "Tell me!" I exclaimed, grabbing her. She laughed at me and answered, "Ben has it. I think. It was four years ago when he got it, so I'm not sure where it went." I stopped in my tracks and stared at her in disbelief. "You....Dad....OMG!!!!!" I squealed before hugging her like crazy. She laughed and hugged me back. "You're welcome. I saw how much you wanted it when we were seven, and coz it was you're birthday soon, I got Ben to buy. But then you ran away and we kinda forgot about it." She told me.

The whole way back I was practically dancing. That watch is now the very last thing I have of my family, and I was prepared to steal it that day. Oh, Jaz is amazing!!

Hey, sorry this was such a huge time skip. I only wanted this book to be around 45 chapters, but am now making it longer to fit everything in. And if you're confused, Kono and Charlotte are going out, Gabriella and Kameron are going out, and Jaz is a single Pringle...for now. Bai!
