Jonathan's POV
My anger had taken me quite far away from the park. I was now in a little woodland area; surrounded by giant, and tall trees towering over me. The clouds misted over me and turned into all different shapes and sizes. I strolled along the path that was covered in leaves and eventually found myself a little wooden bench to sit down on. I took a seat and looked back up at the clouds. The shape of them had slightly changed and I could make out pictures. Some images looked like animals, others looked like objects. It was quiet around. All you could hear were the faint sounds of birds chirping high above in the trees. My thoughts felt more relaxed and calm. Everything negative from my mind was gone. Well, at least pushed to the back off my mind. I let out a little breath and admired my surroundings once more. But my admiring was interrupted when my phone beeped; signalling I had a message. I pulled my phone out my pocket and saw that I had received a new message from y/n. It read;

Y/n: Hey, I'm at the park. Where are you? x

I quickly formed a message back and sent it.

Me: Hey, I'm sorry. I'm running a little late. I'll be there soon x

I slipped my phone back into my pocket and got up off the bench.

I arrived at the park and saw y/n sitting down on the green grass with a light smile on her face. I smiled myself and approached y/n; taking a seat next to her when I reached her side.

"Hey."

"Hey!" Y/n said happily.

I opened my arms out to either side of me and wrapped them around y/n's back; engulfing her into a tight hug. Y/n slithered her hands around my back and hugged me back just as tightly.

"I'm sorry I was late. I got, um. Caught up in some things."

Y/n raised a brow slightly. "What do you mean, 'caught up in some things'?" Y/n asked in a curious tone.

I sighed once again before explaining myself to y/n. "I came here before earlier, before you texted me. But when I was here earlier, Jason came and approached me with his friends. He just said some stuff. It's nothing much." I said a little quickly. I didn't want to talk about it. I wanted to ignore what had happened with Jason and just to enjoy my time with y/n. I also didn't want to worry y/n. For her to think something bad had happened.

I looked down at the ground then back up at y/n who was looking at me with a worried expression. "What did he say?" Y/n started. "Did he threaten you? Did he hurt you?"

"No." I quickly replied. "Nothing bad happened. Just leave it."

"But Jon, I'm worried. Did- did he threaten you? Because, of me?" Y/n asked. Her tone seemed almost emotionless. But it had an undertone of worriedness.

"Y/n please don't worry. I can deal with the situation myself. It's not your situation to get involved in. I'm only saying that because I don't want to cause more drama and I don't want you getting hurt." I said; my tone calm and reassuring.

A/N: I'm sorry I haven't updated in a little while. No motivation is my excuse. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter. The next chapter will be uploaded some point this weekend.
