Coming out....Again

By the time I was done helping Addy study, It was too late to face time my friend Lucy. I guess i'll do it tomorrow, I thought to myself .
Me and Adiline went to bed that night kinda early. I guess the whole spider thing took a toll on our bodies, not to mention I was woken up an hour before I had to be.

The next morning I woke up with my alarm clock rather than a screaming Addy, which I'd say it's much more preferable. We made breakfast and watched some TV. Today I have a lecture at 10:00 so we didn't have much time to watch TV together. After breakfast I grabbed my stuff and left.

"Bye Addy", I said

" Bye Ruby", She responded.

I took the bus to get to my interior design lecture. Five minutes later I arrived and went up the elevator to get to the right lecture hall. I sat through the entire thing just thinking about what I was planning on doing tonight. I can do it, I can do it, I can do it, I kept telling myself.
Soon the lecture was over and I had an hour break until my next one. I pulled out my phone to call Addy.

"Hey are you at the apartment?" I asked her.

"yeah why?" Adiline said.

"Okay great, meet me at the food court as soon as you can, I have a free hour and we can get lunch together" I told her.

"sounds great" she said. I heard her getting up. " I'll meet you there in like five minutes, bye"

"Okay bye", I responded. We hung up and I started walking to the food court. when I got there I waited at the door until I saw Adiline approaching.

"hello" She said. Her voice cheery and song-like like a birds chirp. 

"hi" I responded. My high pitched voice making it sound just like a squeak, maybe a voice crack. That's the one thing I didn't like about my voice. It was fine when I talked normally but if I get excited or just want to sound happy its just a high pitched sound that halfheartedly makes out what I wanted to say. 

We found and empty table and put our stuff down to claim our seats. Then we got up and went to get plates.

" Remember to get the spaghetti", Addy reminded me.

"Oh yeah I will", I told her.

We split apart and I made my way to the place where the infamous spaghetti was. I got a plate of it and made my way to the little condiments table and got a fork and a glass of lemonade. Then I went back to the table. Addy was already there with what looked like chinese food.

"spaghetti and lemonade?" She said with a perplexed tone.

" Well I'm sorry that if I have milk I'm going to be dying on the toilet for 3 Hours." I said. Addy giggled and said, "Lactose intolerant?"

"More like lactose sensitive, but yes", I replied.

"So what's your plan for tonight with the whole coming out thing?" She asked me. The memory soon entered my head leaving my with a blank expression for a moment, " Oh yeah that, well I guess I'm just going to face time her and see how it goes like you said"

"Sounds like it will work" Adiline told me. " Do you know if she's excepting or not?"

" I'm really not sure. we never have really had a conversation about anything related to the whole LGBTQ community" I said.
