Reinvent Love

would you be so kind as to fall in love with me?

The start of the day was great. I did what i've always wanted to do which was cuddle up on the couch with Addy. We watched some attack on titan with Doughnuts and Coffee.

" Is there any other way to describe Mikasa other than badass?" Addy said.

" Nope"

" What time are your lectures today?" I asked

" Not until 3 I think, you?"

" I got none today"

" Ah lucky" Addy whined.

" I'm even luckier now that I'm with you" I said as I tapped her on the nose.

" You cheesy motherfucker" She said playfully as she ruffled my hair.

" You love it"

" Can't prove that can you?"

" Can't deny it can you?" I answered back with a smirk.

" Oh shush child" She said.

" Make me"

Addy quickly pecked me on the lips. " Will that do it?" She said smiling. I couldn't help but do the same as her. " Yup."

" I swear that's how we're always gonna end up kissing" I said, Still smiling.

" I'd rather have that then some awkward can we kiss now moment" She said, lifting her hands from under the blanket to do air quotes.

" Yeah true, I feel like too much consent just for a kiss kills the mood, rather it be unexpected, yet expected at the same time, that's when it's actually good" I said.

" Hm, good to know" She said smirking.

" You know, we should invite Ollie and Leo to lunch today to tell them the news" I said.

" Where do you want to go this time?" Addy asked.

" Maybe somewhere that's kinda loud, I have a feeling Ollie's gonna squeal in excitement and i don't want anyone thinking he's dying if we're in a small coffee shop or something."

Addy laughed, " true true, Sooo food court?"

" Sounds good"

Me and Addy walked together on the sidewalks all the way to the Food court. We got in and picked a table.

" Ok Ollie and Leo should be here soon apparently Leo's having some trouble with his hair." Addy said.

" Ok, let's wait for them to get food" I said.

like it was on cue Ollie texted Addy saying they were here. They found our table and sat down. Leo was wearing a beanie and had an " I'm so over it" expression in his face.

" Hair troubles?" I said to him sympethetically.

" Yup" he answered sarcastically.

" Well lets go get our food" Addy said. We all split up and came back with our plates full.

" Oh Ruby! remember you have that essay to write" Addy said. I didn't remember what she was talking about but then I remembered. " Oh yeah that thing, ugh I forgot about that"

"So what's going on with you guys?" I asked the two boys.

" Not really anything, I had a lecture today and that's about it" Ollie answered.

" You guys should come hang out at our place later today, I have a lecture at 3 but after that we both have nothing else" Addy said with a mouth full of food.

" Oh yeah that would be fun" Leo said, perking up a bit.

" We could all sit together and watch a movie with snacks and stuff, That would be fun" I said, Getting in on this idea.

" Ooo i'll bring my ukulele!" Ollie said excitedly.

" Wait you play ukulele too?" I said with a confused tone.

" Yeah why you do too?" He said.

" Wow that's cool, I never knew that" I said. " We can all have a little sing song thing tonight."

" This is gonna be so fun!" Addy said.

A little time went by while we ate. With my free hand I found Addy's and held her hand. She intertwined her fingers with mine. It made me feel all warm inside, like a hole had been filled in my heart. She scooted her chair a little closer to mine. Then Ollie broke the silence.

" So are you two dating yet?" He asked in the same kiddish tone he always asks us in. He thought he knew what answer he would get, but oh was he wrong. Me and Addy looked at each other. "Why don't you look under the table?" I said smirking.

Ollie began to duck under the table. " How the hell is looking under the table gonna tell us-" Leo was cut off by Ollie squealing. " Leo get your fucking head under the table!" He said, nearly shouting in excitement. Addy and I began bursting out laughing. " I told you he would squeal!" I said to her. Leo went under the table to see what Ollie was screaming about and came up with a huge smile.

" oh my god, tell me how it all happened" Ollie said, still very happy. Me and Addy took turns explaining.

" Well I was trying to write an essay that's due soon but Addy kept bugging me"

" I was bored okay and i didn't have anyone to talk to all day"

" So after about 5 or 6 rants about stupid things I said shut up"

" And of course i responded with make me"

" And all I was thinking was- I know how to shut you up, so I went over to her and kissed her on the lips"

" I was so shocked for a moment that I did nothing but then I realized I was not in a dream and I could do something so I started kissing back"

" Then Addy was like- you have no idea how long I was waiting for that"

" Then Ruby hugged me  really tight and asked if we were a thing"

"And of course the answer was yes"

"I was literally about to pass out from an excitement and nervousness overload and thats why I held you so tight" I addressed my last sentence towardAddy directly. She was about to repond but then Leo started talking. 

" Aaawwwweeee you guys are so cute!!!!" Leo said, suddenly in a much more happy mood then what he was in before. " I wish that's how me and Ollie started dating"

" I think the way we started dating was perfectly fine" Ollie said with a bit of sass.

" Dude you literally asked me out in pizza shop and I was still closeted" Leo said.

I started to laugh " You guys already sound like an old married couple"

" Yeah yeah we get it" Ollie said sarcastically.

" Oh my god my lectures in like 15 minutes and it's all the way across campus, I gotta get going" Addy said, letting go of my hand and getting up.

" See you guys later" I said while hurrying to catch up with Addy who had already started speed walking out the door. " Text me when your ready for us to come" I heard Ollie say.
I couldn't even respond before we got out the door. I followed Addy through traffic and ally ways to get to her lecture hall.

" Bye Ruby" Addy said before she went in, pulling me into a hug. My head fell onto her shoulder as we swayed back and forth a tiny bit. 

" Bye Addy"

* It's so fun to write these now because I can finally make them relationship goals

New challenge- open up the nearest book to page 37 and the first sentence is your love life.
-" so it would be a very special animal to take that spot in my life"

well i want to die now ...
