Part II
"I thought you said that there was no cure. And how did you culture an antibody in the first place without my blood?" Hagami asked drawing her tantō. There was something confusing about this, Orochimaru was becoming more vague than normal.
"It was a while ago. During one of your missions when you're in Akatsuki. I collected a blood sample and began working on it." Orochimaru answered. "Kabuto helped me of course, why don't you thank him?"
"I can repay him with death if that's what you mean." Hagami responded darkly. "Keep him out of this. Or I'll take him out right now. He's a thorn in my side, always has and always will be. I'm surprised he's alive, and to think I had so many opportunities to get him killed earlier."
"W-What? You'd kill m-me?" Kabuto asked in am amused voice.
"I warned you to stay out of this," Hagami smirked as she casted the Tsukuyomi over Kabuto with just a flash of the Mangekyō Sharingan. Kabuto shrilled in pain and tossed around on the floor. His eyes were wide open despite being stabbed by several katana already. "He's alive. Remember, I do not kill. But...I made sure that he'll be physically incapable of walking. He may recover physically, but mentally is a different story." She sighed quietly when he stopped thrashing and came back to the real world. He suddenly caught sight of Kabuto and he stumbled to his feet and then fell backward.
"Now, back to what we're speaking of, you've found a cure?" Hagami asked seriously. But she found Orochimaru's chakra stagnant and his body movements frozen. "I won't trap you in the Tsukuyomi if you don't cause any trouble."
"Perhaps another time." Orochimaru's voice was almost compassionate toward Kabuto. "I can't allow you to cause anymore pain to my subordinate."
"I warned him fair and square. How about you teach him to shut his mouth when he needs to?" Hagami suggested casually and sat back down. "But I don't sense anything different about you. Perhaps you'll actually bring the cure another time. Yes, that's right, from the moment I saw the white snake, your chakra and his was beginning to circulate rapidly. You're not here to bring me any cure. You're here for the Sharingan. Why else would you back down at this moment? Because you lost your right hand man?
"Orochimaru, I suggest you get Kabuto out of here now, before you're unable to move too. Either that," Hagami leapt up from the stone throne and appeared beside Kabuto. He shrilled when he saw her but didn't move fast enough when he tried to get up. Her hand had already shot down to grab him by the neck and her tantō pressed against his neck. "Or he'll be my first kill."
"Hagami! Release him at once." Orochimaru leapt away from her and formed a hand seal. However, Hagami pressed the tantō in deeper to the point where it drew blood.
"Drop your hands Orochimaru," Hagami ordered. "I don't care if you're one of the Sannin. Keep your nose out of the Uchiha Clan." She dropped Kabuto on the ground and he shakily got to his knees and then his feet. When he turned to Hagami, there was nothing but pure fear in his eyes for her. Kabuto didn't hesitate to stumble to the exit. "Remember, even when I'm gone, there're three others just like me. And unlike me, they've killed." She warned them bitterly and watched as their blurry figures vanished beyond the exit of the Old Uchiha Hideout.

Time passed slowly but Jiraiya made it to Konohagakure. Tsunade sensed his chakra first and made her way to the Village gates whilst leaving Shizune in charge of the Office until she got back. Of course, Jiraiya got an earful the moment she saw him. But she still took him to the Konohagakure Hospital. She healed his arm to the best of his ability too until he could be treated properly. Fukasaku, the toad on his shoulder, also left a while back too.
"Make sure you get my information to the Intelligence Division." Jiraiya reminded and Tsunade walked toward the door. "And Tsunade, before you leave, tell Uchiha Sasuke to come to this room. There's something I need to discuss with him." Jiraiya asked weakly and Tsunade turned around. There was anger in her eyes for Jiraiya's recklessness but another part of her held a caring side.
"I'll call him up immediately." Tsunade responded simply and walked out of the hospital room. Jiraiya sighed, rather content with the fact he made it back to Konohagakure. Despite having bandages surrounding the majority of his body, he felt a part of him still left behind in Amegakure.
Jiraiya laid there for another half an hour until someone came knocking at his door. He could tell there were two people there and when they opened the door he saw Sasuke and Itachi.
"Well well, about time." Jiraiya's lax tone came back naturally.
"Jiraiya," Sasuke greeted in a monotonous voice, "the Hokage sent me here because she said you had something important to discuss with me. I just got home from a mission as well, I'd like this to be fast."
"Then I'll make it fast," he paused. "Recently I went on a mission to Amegakure, the Village Hidden in the Rain, and while I was there I discovered where Hagami had been for the past three years. She had withdrawn into hiding and was training that entire time." Jiraiya moved the sheet over his chest and Sasuke's widened immensely when he saw that Jiraiya was missing his left arm. "I barely had time to consider her a threat. She's grown powerful and I barely escaped with my life back there. But she did request me of one thing.
"A week from now, she wants you to meet her at the Old Uchiha Hideout, wherever that is, and I have a feeling that's when your showdown will be. After all, the Village knows not to interfere in this fight. The Uchiha will stand guard, I believe too." Jiraiya informed and Sasuke clenched his fists; he also wore the standard uniform of a shinobi in the in the Police Force. Sasuke began to turn away when Jiraiya also added something else, "Be careful when you fight her, Sasuke."
"There's no need to be worried about something as trivial as that." Sasuke assured but in a cold tone. He walked out of the hospital room as soon as possible but Itachi stayed behind with Jiraiya for a moment.
"Hagami was the one that allowed you escape, didn't she?" Itachi asked as soon as she was sure Sasuke had left earshot.
"Of course she was." Jiraiya answered truthfully. "I've known her from stories passed around the nations when I'm traveling. But I also know her, from when I've assessed her fighting. I was one of the proctors at her Jōnin Exams disguised as one of the others. I watched her fight, she was exemplary."
"So, your arm?" Itachi asked.
"Tsunade will discuss that with you, I'm sure of it." Jiraiya assured. "Gather up Shisui so he'll know too."
"I will. But why would you lie to Sasuke?" Itachi asked curiously.
"Hagami's request. I believe it's because she knows Sasuke still hesitant about killing her." Jiraiya answered. "But enough said about this, go prepare. The Uchiha Clan will be guarding the area where she's fighting at too but the Village is not to interfere in any sort of way."
"Arigato (Thank you)." Itachi bowed his head out of respect and left the room, sliding the door closed quietly.
