Hagami eventually managed to keep herself upright without the use of a wall. Her head pounded but she knew that she had to keep pushing forward. If all Akatsuki members were not in the base, something was up and unusual. Normally, at least Pein or Konan were here but neither of them were at the moment. Kisame wasn't in the base either, but he was normally gone anyway since the two often paired in missions. Tobi was also gone but Hagami knew that he could appear whenever he found convenient. This piqued her anxiety, if he managed to pick up on her chakra signature, she'd be in no position to defend herself.
So she refrained from rapidly amassing any of her chakra. This was both an advantage and disadvantage; it'd keep her hidden but at the same time it made her a sitting duck if she was found out.
Over the years, Hagami managed to find many passages leading to secret meeting hallways. Many of them remained empty without traces of evidence but some of them were packed. They held information on whereabouts, plans, reasons, Akatsuki members, and more. And Hagami knew the main chamber by purposely listening in on a conversation.
Hagami's hand pressed into the withered metal. The rust crumbled when she did so since it was rarely in use in the first place. She pushed it open with caution and care whilst the hinges wailed. Hagami slipped in soundlessly but left the door cracked to see where she was stepping.
Her hands gingerly searched for any documents that were still in tact. Tobi often destroyed any evidence once he was sure he'd remember whatever was written.
Suddenly, her hand brushed against a fresh paper. Hagami's eyes widened. Tobi rarely left anything behind because of his meticulousness. She scooped the document up in her hand as fast as she could and multiple papers remained attached. She growled in frustration when a couple of scrolls clattered to the ground.
Once she got the documents under control though, Hagami headed toward the door and listened intently to whomever may be outside. She didn't have enough chakra to activate even her primary Sharingan but she had enough to make a bolt.
No one was outside the door, Hagami concluded when she poked her head out. All the corridors and hallways were empty from the left to the right from the ceiling to the floor. Hagami breathed a sigh of relief and she walked out with the scroll being tucked away.
"My my, I never thought I'd get to witness the Izanagi again." Hagami flinched around to see something rising out of the ground. She bit her tongue, she had forgotten of Akatsuki's spy, Zetsu, since she rarely came into contact with him. Many scenarios now ran through her head, for all she knew, he could be contacting Tobi at the moment since he had telepathic abilities. "What's wrong, cat's got your tongue? Or perhaps you're out of chakra and you're wondering your next move." White Zetsu mused.
"Those documents, they're on Project Tsuki no Me, aren't they?" Black Zetsu spoke in his deep, raspy tone.
"Contrary, they're Tobi's stating he's at the Five Kage Summit." Hagami chuckled smoothly and she leaned her weight onto one leg. "So, he's serious about following through with a war? How thrilling, let's see who makes it out..." Hagami fluently dodged a wooden spear shooting from the ground by flipping over it and landing in front of Zetsu. "Tsk, tsk, I wouldn't try to kill me, not right now." Hagami took an old kunai out she had picked up from the room and she angled it toward her still functioning eye when she turned around. "You wouldn't want Tobi to lose his precious chance of obtaining my eye, now would you? It'd be a valuable asset since my Mangekyō Sharingan allows for me to control the chakra system."
Zetsu flinched but he didn't make a move to rise further out of the ground. He just froze, he was in a checkmate position to say the least.
"I've known for a while of your goal actually. The only reason why you needed an Uchiha in Akatsuki was for my eyes. I've looked just enough into your organization." Hagami struck a nerve in Zetsu. "But, it was my prowess you're after. Either that or Shisui, Itachi, or Sasuke-or perhaps all three. To let such a shinobi like me in Akatsuki...you shouldn't of assumed that I would be loyal all the way through." Hagami let loose a rare sneer toward Zetsu as she walked past him without a hitch.
"...now, let us see how everything falls into place." Hagami murmured once she was on the first step of the first flight of stairs.

"This is where we split off from Itachi since Amegakure is due west from here." Shisui stopped both Naruto and Sakura by holding an arm out. "Enough distance has been put between us and the Village as well as them so we should be home free from here to there. Renegade shinobi shouldn't be a problem either."
"Shisui-san, what if someone gets suspicious? Your the Uchiha Clan's strongest shinobi, what if someone comes after us?" Sakura asked before he could take off.
"I've already talked to both Koharu-san and Homura-san. The two of them know I'm planning on infiltrating Amegakure since Jiraiya-Sensei isn't in any condition to do so. I'm their second best choice since I'm the fastest in the Village as well." Shisui responded confidently and he took off.
"Yeah but what about Old Man Fugaku?" Naruto asked in a casual tone.
"He'll probably just believe that I'm tagging along with the Hokage just as a precaution. As for you two, Koharu-san and Homura-san know you're with me and will back you up if you're called for a mission any time soon." Shisui assured them confidently.
"You're really thought this through." Sakura murmured. "I see where Sasuke-kun gets his tedious strategy skills from now."
"I'm nothing compared to Hagami-chan. She's much more tedious than I could ever be. Since she was so naturally observant of her environment, she could easily spy on anyone or anything without noticing.
"Hagami-chan retained information quite well too. She was a once in a lifetime in her generation." As Shisui went through his memories of Hagami, both Naruto and Sakura could tell that he missed her dearly. "You two...she'd probably like you by the way."
"Well, she knows me'ttebayo! She shielded me once from the shop owners who're chasing me with kitchenware." Naruto chuckled when he remembered hiding behind Hagami.
"Oh? I didn't know that?" Shisui also chuckled when he pictured Hagami shielding Naruto when she was younger. "I suppose that'd be something she'd do. She cared for Konohagakure as a whole along with the people."
"I've never met her but she sounds incredibly strong." Sakura said in a thoughtful voice. Shisui stopped in his steps and Sakura and Naruto landed behind him.
"Stronger than anyone I knew." Shisui admitted in a quiet voice. "We'll continue to Amegakure tomorrow. The sun's already settling and we're still in Land of Fire territory. We'll set up camp here." He instructed and leapt down to the ground. He sat his backpack down as Sakura and Naruto followed.
