"Sasuke, don't listen to him." Hagami broke her silence. But there was an understanding look in her eyes toward Kabuto for some things that he's spoken. "Kabuto was an even better spy than I was, which means he's even better than me at lying.
"And...no matter what darkness or contradictions lie within the Village, I am still Uchiha Hagami of Konohagakure!" Hagami's eyes broke from their sympathetic gaze toward Kabuto and they became iron cold. "I know that I've become a disgrace to Konohagakure but there's more to a Village than just status.
"Kabuto! You said that Konohagakure gave me nothing in return for my choices. But you're wrong! Konohagakure has given me something to protect and hold dear to my heart. I chose the path I went down because the both the Village and my Clan meant enough to me to make me become the enemy to protect them." Hagami stepped forward with a stolid gaze in her eyes.
"And Sasuke, I still have much I'd like to tell you, maybe a few stories if you're up to it." Hagami shot a gently smile over her shoulder. "But first, let's take care of business and stop the Edo Tensei (Reanimation Jutsu)." Hagami's left eye began to shift into the Mangekyō Sharingan right off the back.
"You cannot kill me," Kabuto repeated arrogantly, "as long as I am the user of the Edo Tensei. And I can instantly recover from any injury you inflict. It's meaningless. I shut down my eyesight so the much-touted Genjutsu of your visual prowess will have no effect on me...
"You siblings can't beat me!" Kabuto emphasized almost frustrated with their persistence. "Because I cast it, this Edo Tensei is invincible."
"It's a pain listening to him." Itachi seemed to be losing patience too, surprising both Sasuke and Hagami. "But he explained the situation perfectly."
I don't need you to tell me that. Sasuke thought in his mind as he shot his brother a half-hearted glare.
"Then what should we do?" Sasuke asked.
"He doesn't know the true power of the Uchiha." Hagami answered. "The Uchiha have a visual jutsu that can be used on an opponent without eyesight...in exchange for losing the light in one's eyes like it's parallel that I used."
"Izanagi?" Sasuke asked, his eyes widening a bit.
"Hagami said it was it's parallel." Itachi corrected and he took his place in front of both Hagami and Sasuke. "She wasn't speaking of the Izanagi. Another Kinjutsu is considered its other half."
"Another?!" Sasuke seemed surprised to hear of another Kinjutsu of the Uchiha.
"I've already laid the plan." Itachi murmured to Hagami.
"I know that, and I'm not too happy either." Hagami snapped at him but he ran forward without giving her a chance to stop him.
"An ultimate visual jutsu that holds his fate within its grasp." Itachi explained as he brought Sasuke's katana in across his body. He used Sasuke's katana to block the chakra scalpel that Kabuto make using his hand. "Izanami!"
The two of them were thrown back at equal strength. Itachi landed back in front of Hagami and Sasuke whereas Kabuto landed back where he was before. Itachi spoke, "If Izanagi is a jutsu that changes one's fate, then Izanami is a jutsu that decides it!"
"Both of you, do not leave my side." Itachi ordered both Sasuke and Hagami.
Shisui lowered his kunai and he observed the fight from afar. He could already tell Kabuto was now more focused on Sasuke, Itachi, and Hagami to even be concerned with himself and Aki and Fuyu. Shisui also already knew of Itachi's plan. Like Hagami, he knew the chakra that Itachi was accumulating was for the Izanami. Though completely against it, the moment Shisui showed himself to Kabuto, Aki and Fuyu would be open to attack, and that could prove disastrous.
