Naruto crossed a hallway in the tallest building in Amegakure. Getting in wasn't a job, in fact the rain wasn't even falling right now. This raised a red flag and Naruto was told—multiple times—to be extremely cautious. But it seemed that right from the beginning that something was wrong.

Shisui ran not far ahead of Naruto. He had his tantō drawn as he ventured further down into the Akatsuki base. Another thing that seemed strange was the fact that Hagami's chakra was fragmented down here. It seemed that particles have been left behind, which is characteristic when a shinobi didn't die but was close to it. However, he didn't really want to get his hopes up.

Sakura was the furthest already, her chakra circulating rapidly in case she needed to release it upon contact. She was running at a high speed; she too could feel fragmented chakra.

I wonder if this is a mere glimpse of Hagami's chakra. It's especially similar to Itachi's and Sasuke-kun. Sakura thought as she passed a door. However, uncharacteristic to this door, it was left open and sealing tape had been put up over it. But it looked like it had been severed just as easily as it was placed. So she stopped by it but kept a good amount of distance. The chakra fragments seemed to be the most gathered here and she waited for Naruto and Shisui.

"What is it?" Shisui asked stopping beside her a few seconds later.

"There's a lot of chakra that had been amassed in this room. Supposedly whatever was in here wasn't supposed to come out." Sakura answered gesturing to the red tape that was hanging limply now.

Shisui took a step forward, his hand gingerly avoiding the tape as he pushed the door open. It creaked sharply but gave easily. Inside, they're met with a an open casket, the top crumbled and the inside of it empty. Naruto gulped from behind Sakura and almost used her as a shield when they walked into the room.

Just then, a huge wave of chakra hit them.

It was Hagami's that had been released during Tobi's many attempts to retrieve her eyes as well as the Izanagi that had been performed.

Shisui walked over to the casket, his hands grazing the edge of it carefully. The chakra in the air was thick and Shisui thought she could be hiding within the room.

"Keep your guard up. Look for any signs that reveal her presence." Shisui ordered as he walked over to the wall. One of the four candles that lit the room were still blazing. It was the one pointing toward the north but Shisui thought nothing of it yet.

"I only sense fragmented chakra. There isn't a full person here." Sakura said feeling along the walls for a possibly vault.

"I don't sense anyone either, not even with Sage Mode." Naruto added as he opened his eyes. The orangish tinting of his skin and toad-like eyes showed his mastery over Sage Mode, something Jiraiya couldn't do. "I only sense the civilians outside."

"This is also strange," Sakura added as she ran her fingers along the casket, "this was broken from the inside out."

"What? That's impossible. Hagami's dead." Naruto put it bluntly but Shisui felt along the jagged edges again. Sakura was right, it was broken from the inside.

"No, Sakura's right." Shisui said and his Sharingan became prominent in his eyes. Fragments of her chakra were left on the rubble.

"How did something from the inside break it then?" Naruto asked poking at the edges. "Is there some kind of technique she could've used even though she was dead? Did she come back to life or something?"

"No, that's not the case. I have a feeling Hagami set something up just before her death." Shisui scratched his chin as his mind dug through all the possibilities. "She wouldn't of just died because there're too many secrets in the Sharingan. I found it weird that she didn't pass it onto Itachi, Sasuke, or I.
