"Then, to begin with, we," Shisui gestured using his head toward himself, Itachi, and Hagami, "are here to see if we could have our friend healed." Shisui paused to see the shock written on both Hashirama and Tobirama's faces. "Before you make any assumptions, let her explain her story to you."

"Any story of the Uchiha is a lie-"

"Tobirama." Hashirama hissed into his ear, silencing him immediately.

"My name is Uchiha Hagami." She took a seat on the ground, her eyes narrowed with a wiseness usually not present in someone in their mid-twenties. "I'm not saying that I did manage to divert destruction from Konohagakure, but I did manage to keep both the Uchiha Clan and the Village thriving off of each other. Instead of butting heads, they're now working together in a sense where they're reliant on one another."

"Why're you defending the Village?" Tobirama barked hastily.

"Because I wasn't influenced by the Curse of Hatred." Hagami shot back, almost appalling the Second Hokage. "I valued family over fame and accepted disgrace in place of honor. I sacrificed my life for the life of the Village; now they work together and aren't committed to internal warfare." She spoke softly, but her eyes narrowed a bit more. "Despite what the Senju think, not all Uchiha are evil."

"Is that your story? If it is, it's weak and short." Tobirama scoffed at Hagami.

"Then why am I still alive?" Hagami questioned defiantly. "If I'm weak just because I don't want to spend time talking about my backstory, why am I still alive?"

Tobirama had no comeback to Hagami this time. He stood in silence but his glare lingered on her eyes for some time.

"Now that you know the basics behind me, we're here for the soul reason that I'm healed before the war above us gets out of hand." Hagami snapped their attention back. "I'm a key figure in this war, because unlike normal Uchiha, I don't rely on Ninjutsu, I rely on Taijutsu as my basis of fighting. I know Madara is per se vulnerable to Taijutsu because of his natural reliance on Ninjutsu-based technique, I could at least be a trump card before some strategy is found out."

Hiruzen's eyes narrowed.

"Does this mean your Ninjutsu is weak?" Tobirama took another jab at her.

"No, it's not. I never said it was weak. I'm making the point that my Taijutsu is stronger." Hagami retorted and Hashirama cleared his throat.

"About this war you just mentioned," Hiruzen's voice cut through the small argument with ease. "And the Curse of Hatred from before. There are some things I'd like to explain. Both Shisui and Hagami are descendants of Uchiha Kagami, an Uchiha who transcended the Curse of Hatred and put their priorities first.

"Like said Uchiha, and I, they embraced the Will of Fire of Konohagakure. However, I must admit that I was more naïve than most shinobi as I wasn't able to continue the Second Hokage's task of village-building skillfully enough. Which is how I ended up burdening Danzō-san with the Village's darkness.

"As a result, it seems I've failed miserably as the Hokage during my time. I also predict that I'm responsible for creating the existing circumstances too." Hiruzen's eyes closed a bit in hurtful memories and Hagami's lips pressed into a line.

"No...you're not to blame, Lord Third." Minato spoke up. "You did everything you could for the sake of the Village respectably. I'm the one who died during the Kyūbi's attack on the Village! You had such high hopes for me as the Hokage... And I couldn't live up to them. Had I lived, perhaps I could have helped to foil the Uchiha's plans for the Coup d'État much sooner..."

Hiruzen took a moment and silence fell upon the room. Hagami, Itachi, and Shisui stood stagnantly beside Orochimaru whilst the Hokage created an equally rising tension. Hagami could tell just from their eyes that they're thinking of the various outcomes of what could happen if the war is stopped or if it's not stopped at all.

"We don't have all the time in the world. When midnight is here, project Tsuki no Me will be put into action, and if we don't have a solution, we're doomed." Hagami pressed and the Hokage looked to each other. "If you refuse to heal me, I'll understand, but just know that the Allied Shinobi Force will be one more person down."

Hashirama and Tobirama looked to each other, as did Hiruzen and Minato. Then they all exchanged glances and looked to Hagami.

"I still don't trust you as an Uchiha." Tobirama spoke first and he walked forward. "Give me your left arm, I'm putting one of my Hiraishin markings on your arm. If I have the slightest insinuation that you're going to betray us, I won't hesitate to kill you."

"Wait, what?" As soon as Tobirama ended his sentence, Shisui stepped forward, appalled at Tobirama's circumstances. "That's too drastic. For all we know, you could use this to your advantage!" The desperation in his voice raised a red flag in Hagami. He knew that he was desperate that she return to Konohagakure, without the title of a criminal.

"Under circumstances such as war, I'll put my differences aside. I can sense all the chakra around us, two of which are alarming and dangerous not only to the human race but the entire planet." Tobirama spoke nearly begrudgingly. "I won't kill her, if she gives me no reason to." Tobirama asserted his point and Hagami lifted her arm. Tobirama put to fingers to the inside of it and the marking flashed once and appeared in black writing on her arm.

"There's nothing you need to worry about, Shisui, Itachi. The thing is, I really shouldn't be alive at all, I originally planned on dying in the first place, so if I die, then things are how they should be." Hagami turned around and Shisui's breath caught in his throat.

"And now, to be healed. I can restore your chakra only once because I can already sense that you have a massive reservoir." Hashirama approached Hagami and held out his hand, his palm facing her. "But I'll make sure to restore all of it, so you'll be able to fight along us and the Allied Shinobi Force."

"'Us'?" Itachi caught onto the addition that Hashirama added in.

The First Hokage smirked slightly.

"I had a feeling there was another reason that Orochimaru summoned us aside from healing...Hagami," Hashirama had paused since he had to think of her name. "and this war is the reason. If I'm really sensing Madara, the Allied Shinobi Force will need our help because I'm the only one at the time that can go toe to toe with him."

Hagami raised her hand and Hashirama's and as soon as they touched, Hagami felt chakra pour into her. Her energy, her senses, everything. The world seemed to brighten in color after having such limited chakra for such a long time. When Hashirama pulled his hand away, Hagami drew her's back too. She flexed her fingers, feeling the energy and life coursing her her body.

"I forgot what this felt like..." Hagami murmured under her breath as she began to stretch her arms out. "Arigato (Thank you), Lord First." Hagami finally had the energy to crack a genuine smile to the others. However, as quickly as it came, it left and was replaced by not necessarily a scowl but a serious face. "I will not let this chakra go to waste."

Well, look at this, I finally got around to writing something out. I finally have a better mindset than I did for about two months now. I mean, I still have it but today's a better day than most.

Not sure when I'll update next, hopefully soon since I really love this book, but hang around please (:

Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
