It didn't take much time to get back to Amegakure's main base. Though Kisame was sent right out of the base, Tobi remained to take care of Hagami's corpse. His first order of business was supposedly simple. He just needed to retrieve her eyes to use in battle.

"D***it." Tobi shattered the silence within the examination room. The tips of his fingers were burnt from merely grazing Hagami's eye. "Did she put up some countermeasure? What could it be? The Amaterasu?" He asked himself and he slowly slid his mask off. His Sharingan brimmed in his eyes and when he took it off further his Rinnegan glowered down at Hagami. Again, he took his fingers to her face to try to take her eyes but this time with both of his eyes watching.

The same thing happened, only this time his whole hand became lightly burned. Tobi hissed angrily and took a step back.

"D***it!" He shouted at her. "What. Did. You. Do?!" He asked her though she couldn't give a response. "Those eyes, they're supposed to be mine. I gave you them!" His Sharingan didn't reveal anything of the sorts when he attempted to take them the second time. So he was left without an answer, a frustrating dead end. "Well, whatever, I'll find out a way to draw those eyes out of you. I'll use them to kill your family just to spite you." He snarled at her when he turned to leave the room.

However he stopped a foot from the door yo adjust his mask over his face.

"But you were a valiant shinobi in this world. That...I'll admit to." He muttered and walked out.

Shisui flicked a pencil up and down his desk. His mind was still dazed by what happened yesterday. Itachi had checked up on him a total of five times in the past ten hours and vice versa. Sasuke was hospitalized for injuries he'd sustained during the fight and so were Fugaku and Mikoto. They were amongst the Uchiha who didn't go due to the heightened need of security around Naruto; though he wasn't exactly in the Village at that time, he was at Mount Myōboku.

Despite this though, Fugaku was readily able to walk so he checked up on Sasuke frequently. He wasn't considered to be in a comatose state but had been asleep since he sat foot in Konohagakure. His chakra exhaustion got the best of him them. And on top of this, Fugaku had to worry now for Sasuke's eyes. He's achieved the Mangekyō Sharingan but both Shisui and Itachi came clean when Fugaku asked if Sasuke had killed her.

But as for her corpse, almost all of Konohagakure knew that it had been reclaimed by Akatsuki. No mission would be out any time soon to retrieve it, not until he next Hokage could be chosen since Tsunade was in a comprise state. And there was the damage that had to be dealt with too.

Hagami laid soundlessly, in a void to say the least. But two people remained by her side when she finally awoke.

Her eyes shifted under her eyelids and she coughed as if she brought in water. Her onyx eyes opened to see a male and a female hovering above. Their eyes were compassionate but worried.

"O-O-Okaasan? O-Otousan?" Hagami couldn't forget their faces, not even after millennials if that was the time. She blinked more and surprisingly, they began to focus-she's been used to being more than half blind ever since her Mangekyō Sharingan came into more and more use.

"Hai, it's us." Hagami's mother spoke first. "Aki, and Fuyu."

"Where... Where are we?" Hagami asked tiredly as she pushed herself up into a sitting position. Despite the tiredness in her body, she didn't feel any pain whatsoever. It was as if all her injuries were apart of a Genjutsu, once here and once gone.

"It seems you're not completely dead yet." Hagami's eyes snapped open in surprise. "I guess you knew that the world would need your service again." Aki had a bright smile gracing her features but Hagami could see the small specks of sadness here and there.

"What do you mean? How?" Hagami spoke with a rather rude tone to begin with. She was panicking too, to say the least and overwhelmed by what happening right now.

"Hagami, we know you're confused right now, but please remain calm right now." Fuyu shook Hagami's shoulder and her breathing began to slow a little. "There... Hagami, to begin with, we would like to apologize for leaving you so-"

Hagami didn't let Fuyu finish his sentence when she pushed herself forward. Her left arm wrapped around Fuyu's shoulders and she did the same with her right arm around Aki's shoulders. Tears raced down her cheeks when she hugged her parents. It's been years since she's seen them and for the moment, she cherished their presence.

"It's been... It's been so long since I've seen you, Okaasan, Otousan!" Hagami suddenly cried out happily. Emotion flooded her and she allowed her tears to spill free. She pulled away earlier than she'd like though and faced her parents with wide eyes. "But before you say you're glad to see me, I'd also like to apologize." She quickly said this and the prepared for their comments.

"For what? Preserving peace?" Fuyu asked with a soft smile on his face. "Hagami, before you get any preconceived notions about us being angry or possessing any negative emotions against you for what you did, we want you to know that you were exemplary with your work."

Hagami drew in a shaky breath, her eyes surprised as she wiped the tears away.

"R-Really? You're not upset... You're not upset about me going being the Uchiha Clan's back? You're not upset about me going behind me most trusting friends? You're not upset about me destroying a quarter of Konohagakure? And when I carried out the missions of Akatsuki?"

"We would never be angry or upset about you when you've shouldered everyone's hatred and negativity. Look at the Village you've created, the Uchiha Clan and Konohagakure have become united at last with no ill intent. You've helped to create a Village with the strongest bond unlike any other." Aki smiled as she sat a hand on Hagami's shoulder.

"You've been watching?" Hagami asked surprised. She had always thought it'd be a whole different realm in the world of the dead.

"But of course." Aki said nodding. "But, do you remember me mentioning that you're not completely dead yet?"

"Yes, I do." Hagami's excitement and happiness dimmed slightly at the thought of being brought back into the world of the living. "What about it?"

"To be honest, we don't know how it happened, but...before you died, you set two postponed jutsu around the time you used the Susanoo." Fuyu spoke seriously and his eyes narrowed. Hagami's eyes widened a bit and she dug through her mind.

"Two...postponed jutsu?" Hagami thought back as deep as she could but only remembered one of them. "I only remember the one where it protects my corpse, more specifically my eyes." She remembered that at a point she clasped her hands together and that set up the jutsu around her body. It would wear off at some point but what it did was send a current of any chakra that remained in her body into the one tampering with her corpse.

"Yes, but there is one more." Aki lifted her finger up to add emphasis.
