The darkness pardoned Hagami from knowing her surroundings. Consciously, she heard people around her speaking but it happened to be a muddled mess. Besides this, Hagami obviously couldn't see a thing either hence she was rather unconscious.
Where...are we? She wondered as her senses began to grow sharper. They were damp, but allowed her to feel a bit more. Hagami's fingers twitched when she grazed fabric. I'm on someone's back...? She pondered.
Hagami, no matter the effort, couldn't open her eyes for the life of herself right now. She could barely feel anything either, despite knowing now she was on someone's back.
But despite this all, she felt a growing pit in her stomach. Instead of relying on the traditional shinobi way to sense out those around, something else inside Hagami burned with the feeling that Sasuke, Itachi, or Shisui wasn't with them. Almost like a mother's intuition, it was like a sister's intuition. Hagami knew one of them wasn't here.
"She's waking up!" A startled voice exclaimed suddenly—Hagami's fingers must've twitched again, only this time the person noticed it. Hagami's ears rang with the sound of their voice. "I thought you said that you knocked her out for a day's time." He sounded slightly irritated.
"Well, you can never know with her." The other one responded with a dismissive tone. "Set her down as we go through with the jutsu. And watch over her too, just in case she actually does wake up." Hagami felt herself being shifted around and eventually her head hit the ground, possibly wood hence it began to creek when the others began walking around.
"Well then... I'm going to get started." Hagami's senses began returning, and she even recognized the voice in the background. "It's best if you stand back." Orochimaru warned.
Hagami heard a small pause until something resembling a strangled scream reverberated within the room. Another gasp of pain followed and a liquid--blood Hagami concluded--splattered to the ground.
"Shisui, Itachi... Get ready!" Orochimaru barked at them. Shisui jerked his head up at Orochimaru as Itachi began to weave hand signs.
Itachi was in no way proficient enough to maintain any amount of natural energy in his body, nor are any of his Clansmen, but he could at least gather up a little bit. Itachi quickly walked over to Orochimaru since he already harbored up to four White Zetsu Clones in his body as a way of surveillance by Tobi.
Orochimaru gritted his teeth together when the White Zetsu began to emerge from his body. When they were freed from his body, he immediately weaved signs for two jutsu, one was a binding jutsu using his own snakes, and the other was to begin the Edo Tensei.
"Itachi, Shisui, take care of the remaining two, I don't need them interfering." Orochimaru barked another order at him and Hagami could hear a strain in his voice.
Shisui quickly dealt with one, simply snapping its neck whilst Itachi held one in place with a Paralysis Jutsu.
"Edo Tensei (Reanimation Jutsu)!" Orochimaru's right hand pressed into the wooden planks of the floor.
Groans and cries of pain grated Hagami's ears until her eyes finally opened. At the same time, four figures emerged from the White Zetsu, the figures being the past four Hokage of Konohagakure.
As the Hokage were restored to their reanimated forms, Orochimaru also went under a transformation as he shed his old body and came to possess another one to avoid the injury bestowed by the Shinigami of the Shiki Fūjin (Sealing Jutsu, Reaper Death Seal).
"They...who are the all-knowing," Orochimaru paused. "The previous Hokage!"
Hagami's senses shot back into action when she heard 'previous Hokage'. Rolling onto her side, both Itachi and Shisui were on the other side of the Hokage, their backs facing herself.
Struggling to right herself, she stumbled to her knees before falling forward and to her side again.
"What...is...going on?!" She could barely get anything beyond a whisper past her lips. But one of the Hokage heard her and snapped his head around.
His white hair marked him as the Second Hokage, Tobirama. His crimson eyes, natural to him, narrowed onto her form. His bitterness toward the Uchiha seeped all the way until the present day.
So as Hagami got to her feet, she felt something across her midsection for a split second and then someone throwing her backward.
"Tobirama!" A voice bellowed as Hagami felt her back collide with the stone wall behind her. A hand had been placed firmly around her neck but she had no intention of shoving them away; she didn't have the strength to do so.
Hagami's eyes opened slightly, the eye that could see gazing drearily into the eyes in front of her and then to the back of the room. Right away, she saw both Itachi and Shisui pressed up again the back walls like she was.
Her eyes snapped open. Now she had a reason to fight back. Hagami kicked her feet up, nailing Tobirama in the chin. But this is all she managed as she was dropped.
"That's enough!" Orochimaru shouted throughout the room.
Hagami stumbled again whilst getting to her feet. Her eye barely comprehended as the two Shadow Clones that Tobirama had produced earlier vanished and him taking a step away from her. But only a step; contempt and disdain toward her was ever present in his eyes too.
"The Edo Tensei, again?" Tobirama finally turned away from Hagami and her muscles relaxed slightly. She was still feeling quite dizzy, not to mention nauseous now that she had been thrown back into a wall without warning; and the fact she barely had any chakra circulating through her network. "I can't believe the jutsu I devised would be used so casually." He muttered in disbelief as he worked the feeling into his limbs.
"It's not a complex jutsu." Orochimaru waved him off, almost pridefully.
Hagami listened as the conversation went on. Shisui and Itachi were held firmly in place, however, as they're persuaded through eye contact not to make any sudden movements, mainly from Tobirama. Neither of them could afford to die here, not now, so they held tight.
"Haven't you noticed that I'm not suppressing your personalities?" Hagami snapped her head up when she was pulled from her thoughts. "There are certain circumstances at play this time. I'm merely creating a stage for discourse per his strong desire." Orochimaru approached Shisui.
"My name is Uchiha Shisui," Shisui started off like he always would on formal missions.
"Is that you Shisui?" Hiruzen took a step forward, or rather lurched forward when he saw the Uchiha. "And you too, Itachi. And then the other must be..." Hiruzen whirled around, as did Minato knowing the other Uchiha as well. "Hagami."
Hagami's eyes flickered up to see both the Third and Fourth Hokage. They three of them exchanged a look between each other until Hiruzen silently asked a question. Hagami knew it well from the look his gave others and Hagami's eyes deliberately turned away.
"You're still alive." He murmured.
"I'm well aware."
"What was the cost?"
"My eyesight in my right eye." Hagami responded as she stood up straight. She stumbled her way over to the group, passing Tobirama without showing her fear.
"All three of you belong to the Uchiha. Why would we answer something for you?" Tobirama barked at them as Hagami turned around. She wavered on her feet. "Of course you'd stick with a scoundrel." He muttered referring to Orochimaru.
"Tobirama! I told you to stop saying such things." Hagami winced when she heard Hashirama snap at his younger brother.
"You're too soft, Nīsan." Tobirama retorted toward his older brother.
"Lord Second, never mind us," Shisui spoke again and got the attention of all of them. "There's a reason, two reasons why we summoned you back, or rather Orochimaru."
"Well, then speak." Tobirama beat Hashirama in responding to Shisui's statement.
