"It makes it easier to cast my real Visual Genjutsu on him by keeping him trapped in a small loop like this." Itachi explained.

"So, Kabuto's trapped in your loop right now?" Sasuke inquired for confirmation. "And that's the Izanami? When did you cast it?"

Itachi answered as he removed his hand from Kabuto's head.

"The first time Kabuto stabbed me with that blade." Itachi answered angling his head toward Sasuke's katana before turning completely around to Sasuke and Hagami. "Are you alright?" Itachi asked, aiming his question toward Hagami.

"I think." She answered rubbing her temples.

"So it was a while ago when you activated the Izanami?" Sasuke quipped making Itachi look up. "But how? You mentioned a Visual Jutsu that is possible without sight. But how can Visual Jutsu work without eyesight?"

"Izanami is a Visual Jutsu that works with the physical sense..."

Hagami didn't listen to Itachi's explanation of the Izanami since she already knew how it worked. Whilst in the midst of conversation, Shisui had walked over to Hagami and placed a hand on her shoulder. He squatted down beside her.

"You're exhausted." Shisui commented referring to her faint chakra signature.

"Well..." Hagami sighed. "I didn't plan on fighting this much, or have such a long and drawn out jutsu being used. It looks like my parents were safe with you. Arigato (Thank you), Shisui." She closed her eyes with relief flooding her.

"Here." He held his hand out for her. "You know, you didn't have to stop the Shikotsumyaku, it would've stopped in order to block you in."

"I didn't notice..." Hagami trailed off trying to think back as she grabbed a hold of Shisui's hand. "It's strange to think that the Izanami piles on a cycle of...'images', I guess, in order to create an infinite loop. It took a long time to compile them all."

"Well, Itachi did have to memorize all of them in order to create an accurate loop." Shisui defended his best friend.

"I know, I know." Hagami eventually saw that he was leading her over to Fuyu and Aki. "Okaasan, Otousan." She greeted with a warm voice.

"You made a lot of reckless moves during that fight!" Fuyu snapped at her and Hagami flinched.

"Gomenasai (Sorry)." She apologized in a guilty voice. "But, I didn't get hurt. There's only a cut in my shirt." She gestured to where the shirt was cut and it reached about a quarter into her back.

"What happened there?" Aki's eyes caught onto something. It was discolored skin, a scar of sorts, that had been revealed through the open part of the shirt.

"What?" Hagami craned her neck but Shisui answered for her.

"It was during the Kyūbi's attack on Konohagakure. Her back had been cut open during it when she was trying to save Itachi and Izumi." Shisui explained. "I had actually forgotten she's had those scars for a while now. I guess they really didn't fade, no matter how much the doctors tried to heal them."

"A scar's a scar I guess." Aki murmured knowing that she was there for when Hagami could've used their help.

"I'll stop the Edo Tensei (Reanimation Jutsu) now." Itachi announced just loud enough for those around to hear. Hagami turned around with Shisui's help and then back to her mother and father.

Hagami's eyes filled with tears unconsciously and Aki ran to her. Shisui stepped back as Aki's arms engulfed Hagami, tears coursing down both of their faces now.

"I-I'll miss you, Okaasan." Hagami stuttered out. Despite being a reanimated being, her mother was still warm to the touch like a real person.

"We'll miss you too, Hagami." Her mother pulled away and brushed her hand along Hagami's cheeks to clear her tears. "There're so many things I wish I could tell you but I think you know your way around in the shinobi world. After all, you've grown up into one of the finest now that you know you can lean your weight in Sasuke, Itachi, and Shisui."

"Hagami, you've grown up just like we would've wanted if we're still alive." Fuyu approached his wife and placed a hand on Hagami's shoulder. "It has nothing to do with your level of expertise, your intelligence, or even your last name. It has to do with your kind heart, your selflessness for others, and your courage to take the road less traveled. Let it be known that you have made up the proudest that we can possibly be."

Hagami's tears changed into a bright smile and then, again, tears of joy. Fuyu cracked a smile when he saw his daughter smiling and then he pulled both Aki and Hagami in for a hug.

Itachi waited patiently for them to say their goodbye's before he commenced in undoing the Edo Tensei.

"We'll watch over you Hagami, no matter what." Aki promised.

"Just don't go getting yourself classified as a Rogue Nin again, alright?" Fuyu joked with her and they took a step back.

"A-Alright." Hagami grinned brightly.

"Ne (Rat), Ushi (Ox), Saru (Monkey), Tora (Tiger), Tatsu (Dragon), I (Boar)." Off in the distance, Hagami heard the monotonous voice of Kabuto as he recited the hand signs that'd be used to undo the Edo Tensei. It was then that Hagami realized that Itachi must've used the Tsukuyomi to control Kabuto to say the information.

"Alright," Itachi prepared to use the Tsukuyomi to instruct Kabuto to use the same hand signs, "Ne," after the first command, and so on, Kabuto abided to Itachi's voice, "Ushi, Saru, Tora, Tatsu, I. Edo Tensei, kai (release)!"

"I guess it would've matter what I say now that he's released the jutsu." Hagami murmured when a warm wave radiated around the cave. When she turned back, she saw her parents become surrounded in a bright light, their 'bodies' falling apart whilst a pillar of light was shot toward the sky, a gateway per say sending them back to their rightful home.

"Sayonara, Okaasan, Otousan." Hagami murmured but it didn't seem like her parents heard her. Instead, her mother seemed to be focusing on something else as she moved her arm around a bit as if it had fallen asleep.

"This feels weird, my arm's numb." Aki chuckled. "But at the same time, it feels like a Paralysis Jutsu."

"Could you be serious?" Fuyu scolded. "We're about the leave our daughter and you're focusing on the trivial."

"It's to lighten the mood, which is something you need." Aki backhanded Fuyu's arm.

"How come you don't have their sense of humor?" Shisui whispered to Hagami but her parents undoubtably heard him.

"Excuse me, Hagami does have a sense of humor!" Aki snapped at Shisui. "And make sure you keep an eye on her and don't let her do anything reckless again!" Aki raised her voice slightly.

"W-Will do." Shisui nodded and put a hand on her shoulder. "She'll be safe with us, all of us."

"Good." Fuyu nodded with complete faith that Shisui would stick to his word.

"Okaasan, Otousan, sayonara." Hagami spoke up again when her parents began to leave their bodies.

"We'll always watch over you with a parent's love." Aki and Fuyu called down and Hagami finally got a clear view of them without the cracks in their faces and throughout their bodies.

"I will always love you too, Okaasan, Otousan." Hagami watched silently but with a gentle smile on her face as she saw her parents off to the afterworld.

Not going to lie, the ending was a bit awkward to write. But I think it turned out sweet!

Enjoy!
