The Story of Hagami III [Naruto Fanfic | Uchiha] [Completed]

16 | Confrontation

"If you sense our chakra, you have to immediately go the other way. Find Uchiha Kagami as soon as you can and then tell him that he needs to use the Kotoamatsukami on the two of us. You can't have us two Uchiha on the enemy's side."

Well, I guess it'd be Shisui who's going to be using the Kotoamatsukami... Hagami thought knowing that she had no capacity to use it. Her parents words echoed in her head and she pondered about their combined power, otherwise her parents wouldn't of deterred her away from them. Hmm, do they have a certain jutsu they can use with the Mangekyō Sharingan? Or maybe a way to bypass Fūinjutsu? Or perhaps limit our numbers so greatly with a single combined effort? Hagami questioned as she sat inside a secluded cave.

She had carefully set herself in a familiar cave where she stayed often with Kisame on the border of the Land of Earth. Her chakra was way to faint even for the most trained sensor type shinobi even though she was amassing it slowly, carefully, and precisely over the past few days since everyone would most likely be too preoccupied to notice.

She knew the Allied Shinobi Forces had mobilized about two or three weeks ago. Many passed within a mile beside the cave but no one paid heed to think someone was inside. Hagami was grateful for a moment that she was so weak at the moment.

Hagami didn't particularly have any jutsu that'd help her during this war. She didn't possess Medical Ninjutsu since her chakra control wasn't as great as it was when she was a child; she was powerful but lacked the exact control. She also didn't know of any Fūinjutsu if she encountered any shinobi who're reanimated. The only thing Hagami had up her sleeve was the sheer strength she possessed, her combat skills, and then the Tsukuyomi; but she didn't know if how effective that'd be in this war.

Now if she had the Amaterasu, it'd be a different story, she could at least immobilize some of the reanimations for seven days. This would give the shinobi who used Fūinjutsu enough time to seal them away. But unfortunately, Hagami lost the eye that allowed her to perform the Amaterasu.

Suddenly, a chakra source hit her, two actually and the sounds of kunai zipped past her on either side just above her head. Her eyes widened when she realized the technique. Someone was using tripwire and then the completely synchronization of chakra to create a barrier could be comparable to the Suirō no Jutsu (Water Prison Jutsu). However, it took much longer and required excellent stealth, something these two shinobi lacked since the air was stagnant and silent.

Hagami jumped to the ceiling and held herself there. She refused to use her Sharingan or Mangekyō Sharingan as she glared down at he two people walking into her cave. Hagami thought she had carefully set herself safely somewhere where no one would be able to track her down, especially since she had an extremely weak chakra signature right now.

"What?" She narrowed her eyes when the two people came into sight. Right off she back, she could tell they're trained shinobi. And then worse, she saw their hair and then their cracked faces from the Edo Tensei (Reanimation Jutsu). "You're early." She merely stated and she leapt down to the ground—Hagami shoved her emotions into a bottle tucked away somewhere deep inside of her; she had the ability to do so therefore heightening her fighting abilities indefinitely. Hagami immediately got into a defensive stance with her forearms near the sides of her head.

"Well, we wouldn't want to keep you waiting. But why're you stuck all the way out here?" Aki asked and she stopped beside Fuyu.

"I'm a rogue nin, I can't return to Konohagakure. Also, I'm sure that most of their troops have already mobilized, it'd be pointless as to head back now." Hagami answered. "But I didn't expect you to be here this soon. You've barely given me time to construct a plan."
