Hagami felt Obito drawing chakra from Madara. Not just his own, but also from each of the Bijū locked inside of him too. And since Obito was no longer a true Sage, the power of his Sharingan assisted in allowing Madara to pass through his head when he attempted to snatch the Rinnegan due to their close range.

"I passed through you." Madara muttered frustratedly. "That's your original right eye's power." Even jumping away from Obito didn't make the latter relinquish his control and hold on Madara's current chakra.

Even if it was a small portion of the Ichibi and Hachibi, Obito drew up their chakra specifically. Despite losing Kurama, Madara failed to draw out any fragments of chakra that belonged to the other Bijū; but even still, Naruto was extremely weak.

Hagami gasped in shock when the chakra left Madara's body. Though fragments, Madara stumbled back since even a little seemed like a chunk was taken away. Obito's will was the only thing holding the Ichibi and Hachibi in place at the moment, so the chakra ran free in the air, struggling to break free, or at least break the control of anyone who attempted to hold them.

"Kakashi! Take Naruto into the Time-Space!" Obito shouted over his shoulder. As Kakashi teleported both Sakura and Naruto, Obito did so as well, or at least tried. But due to his closer range, Madara threw one of the Truth-Seeking balls in his direction.

This broke Obito's concentration and shattered the staff he was holding. He fell backward as he contained the chakra in his own body; he'd keep it there until he was needed and they're safely away from Madara's interference.

"Since he'd been in Sage Mode once, he was able to steal some Senjutsu chakra from me too..." Madara realized as his senses dulled slightly.

"Alright, I teleported Naruto," Kakashi ran up beside Obito, "All that's left is for you to teleport yourself there and Naruto will be saved, right, Obito?" He checked for confirmation as Obito struggled to get back onto his feet. The staff that had been shattered had already reformed itself, but with a different Truth-Seeking ball; once broken or lost, they're irreplaceable.

"Sheesh," Obito sighed nostalgically. "You always talk down to me, and act so superior. Just like old times. This time, I'll take point and you'll be my backup, Kakashi." Obito instructed, his eyes narrowing onto his target.

"It's been a while since we were a two-man squad." Kakashi had a much more even tone but either way it was evident that he too was reminiscing in the memories of when they fought together. "Don't stumble, Obito."

"Are you prepared for this?" Obito asked though he knew the answer.

"I'm glad my final op will have been with you." Kakashi clenched his fists by his sides.

"How'd you know, that Obito wasn't going to join back up with Madara when he was walking over there?" Shisui asked as Madara continued to exchange words between Obito and Kakashi.

"His eyes when I saw them after the Jūbi was extracted was one way." Hagami answered, a grin pulling at her lips momentarily. "And then another was merely observing his chakra."

"What? How?" Shisui asked. "I kept an eye on his chakra the entire time too, and I didn't sense anything out of the normal."

"Just sense it." Hagami answered. "Treat it like their breathing pattern. When someone lies, you know, but they can cover that up. Instead, focus on their chakra, it doesn't lie."

"Should we prepare...? In case Madara attacks the two of them simultaneously?" Shisui asked.

"I'm not." Her answer surprised Obito. "They won't need our help. The two of them both possess the Sharingan, not to mention they're practically the same person since both Sharingan eyes originally belonged to Obito.

"However, I would keep your guard up, just in case." Hagami added but she merely allowed her Mangekyō Sharingan to fade. With both the Kyūbi's chakra and the Rinnegan eye in such a delicate balance, it was safe to assume that Hagami had little to worry about. But just in case, the most she'd have was a delayed reflex.

She watched carefully as another chakra source entered the area. Right away, she identified it and knew that Kakashi and Obito would be safe as Madara launched two of the Truth-Seeking balls toward them.

"Kamui!" Both Kakashi and Obito chorused. Performing it at the same time doubled its speed as the Truth-Seeking balls closed in. And just as they would've hit, they're deflected into two different directions. Hagami dug her nails into her skin slightly, already knowing Obito had made a clean jump through Time-Space but also knowing that Kakashi was now extremely low on chakra.

"You...actually had perfect timing...for once." She heard Kakashi scoff. Of all the shinobi to arrive, Hagami was glad it was him, since only Taijutsu would continue to be effective against Madara.

"Will you be alright, Kakashi?" Gai asked, his enthusiastic voice not missing a beat. A green aura was already surrounding Gai, which meant he had already opened one or two of the Inner Gates.

Kakashi's silence must've given Gai his answer as the smile that once stretched from one side of his face to another faltered. Gai turned to look over his shoulder and saw Madara. However, in his mind, he didn't know who he was partially due to his terrible memory already.

"Who is that?" He asked obliviously.

Elsewhere, Itachi tended to Sasuke. There was no way he could use Medical Ninjutsu, due to the fact that Uchiha weren't proficient enough with their chakra in order to even begin learning the basics. But there was also someone else there to assist him.

"And you trust me to heal your kid brother?" His voice was so similar to Orochimaru's, it would've made Itachi's skin crawl if it weren't for the circumstances.

"You and I both know that we want Sasuke alive, though for different reasons." Itachi responded. "But if you make so much as a move to kill him or I, I'll be sure to seal your fate once and for all."

"Your love for your kid brother amazes me sometimes, how you won't stop at anything to save him. You're lucky I've found him just as you did." He chuckled. "But I've also turned over a new leaf, I no longer want the boy for his chakra or even for experiments. You made me realize that I can't mimic someone forever, I need to forge my own path." He drew in a sharp breath and knelt down beside Sasuke.

Itachi watched over him as he began the process of healing Sasuke. Sasuke wasn't dead yet, but was near as more than thirty percent of his blood was gone and his chakra was diminished beyond what Itachi thought was possible. A pit of dread circled in his stomach, but now that the other shinobi was here, he had little to worry about except him lying.
