October 13, 2003: Wednesday — 10:14 PM: Kim Residence
Jin stood in the hallway as he watches his husband, Namjoon, going back inside their house. Tears mingled in his eyes the moment Namjoon smiled at him, as if nothing happened.
"Jagiya, why aren't you sleeping yet?" Namjoon asks the older lovingly and Jin's tears continued to roll down his cheeks. Looking at his husband, his eyes fumed in anger.
"Are you crying?" Namjoon notices the moment he cupped the Jin's cheeks, forcing him gently to face him. But Jin fought it off.
He took off Namjoon's hands off his cheeks, making him quite dumbfounded with what Jin had just done.
"Why are you lying again?" Jin asked, tears making his vision blurry. Voice coarse and unclear.
"W-What do you mean?"
"WHAT DO I MEAN!? YOU! YOU CHEATING AGAINST ME! ALL THESE YEARS, I THOUGHT YOU ARE HONEST WITH ME! WHEN I HAD JIMIN, ALL YOU DID WAS PUT YOUR DICK INSIDE THAT SLUT!" Jin fumed out, making Namjoon grab his frail wrist, and dragging him towards their room before locking the door.
"CAN YOU PLEASE SHUT YOUR MOUTH UP!?" Namjoon screamed back, making Jin expose more of his tears as his chest rises and drops, having a hard time containing himself.
"H-HOW CAN I JUST SHUT MY FUCKING MOUTH UP WHEN I CLEARLY SAW MY HUSBAND KISSING HIS GIRLFRIEND IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE AND ON THE SPECIAL DAY OF MY SON!?" Jin fought back, veins popping on his neck as he grew all red, eyes asking for Namjoon's repetitive explanation.
"IT'S NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS!" Jin cried more as he looked at Namjoon unbelievably.
"H-How could you?" Jin asks, voice now lowered and quivering as he sobs more. Still looking for a decent explanation from Namjoon who clearly doesn't give a fuck.
Expecting Namjoon to hug him and say sorry like what he usually does when they're on an intense couple fight, Jin was only left inside as the younger walks out, slamming the door shut. Couldn't believe everything, Jin fell down to his knees with his children immediately rushing to him, especially the younger ones before giving him a tight hug.
"I-I can't take this anymore." Jin sobbed, earning more hugs from his children who is also close to crying.
"M-Mommy, d-don't give up. Y-You can do it." one of his son, Taehyung, told him and he sobbed more, embracing all of them in his arms, kissing them on their head as tears continued to roll down his cheeks.
He didn't know why. No matter how hard Jin tries to be loving and caring to Namjoon, he still fails at his act. Close to surrendering, he immediately thought about his children, making him continue despite how hard it is for him to see his husband with another girl and sending daggers towards his heart everytime he hears those sick lies his husband is always giving him.
He wanted to leave his partner for the longest time he could remember and bringing the kids with him but thinking about them not being able to have a complete family, Jin decided to stay. Despite all the pains and struggles to be still deeply and madly in love with Namjoon, he still continued to strive in order to see a little positivity in their marriage life because he doesn't want his kids to go through something like him.
