"Is this your revenge, helping the Grounders kill us?" Bellamy accused, shouting at the diseased delinquent. He frequently switched between looking at the two medics and Murphy, who was in the middle of a coughing fit.
When he was able to breathe again, Murphy quickly shook his head and glanced at Hazel with worry, "I didn't know about this, okay, I swear." He then mustered up all of his strength as he turned to the dirty blonde and grabbed her two hands, "I never would have come back if I knew this would happen to you, I'm so sorry."
It was obvious that the brunette did not believe him and he didn't appreciate Murphy's lame attempt at apologizing to his best friend, "Stop lying. When are they coming?" Bellamy was referring to the Grounder army.
The dirty blonde gave the boy's hands a squeeze before nodding and closing her eyes, whispering, "I know."
Clarke soon piped up, "Murphy—think, alright? What can you tell us that's useful? Did you hear anything?"
"They are vicious, cruel," Murphy said, causing Hazel to shudder as she remembered him explaining how they tortured him just hours prior. The two had stayed up, the dirty blonde listening to her best friend as he vividly described everything that had happened to him. By the time they fell asleep, Hazel felt as if she were there and had experienced it, too.
Bellamy growled venomously, "You want to see vicious?" He stepped forward, growing even more annoyed as Hazel positioned her weak self in front of the sick male as if that would be able to stop him.
"Hey, don't. Whatever this thing is, it spreads through contact," Clarke warned, making sure not to touch Bellamy as she held her hand out to prevent him from attacking their unwanted visitor. The brunette stayed back, he'd rather stay healthy than beat up Murphy and get sick.
It was then that Finn joined them in the dropship. "Clarke? Haze?"
Hazel tightly squeezed her eyes shut, wondering if that would help stop the bleeding. Anything could help at this point, Hazel just wanted to get healthy. She couldn't be sick, she was the camp's doctor. "Finn, you shouldn't be in here. No one should," Clarke muttered as she turned away from him, not wanting to let the boy she had been crushing on see her in such a disgusting state. The blonde didn't want to have Finn watch as she assumed she would be puking blood along with the others. As soon as the thought crossed Clarke's mind, her dirty blonde roommate hunched over and violently threw up blood on herself and Murphy. Seeing as she had spent the most time around the infected male, Hazel was more affected by the disease.
"I heard you were sick," he trailed off, before looking at his vomiting sister. "I didn't know you were," his eyes still lingering on his diseased older sister. "Clarke, what is this?"
They all turned to Hazel at the loud sound of her head hitting the floor, her dirty blonde locks soaking up some of the blood she had regurgitated. She had fallen unconscious. Clarke winced as she wondered if her roommate would be concussed from the impact while Bellamy and Finn tried to hide the disgusted expression on their faces as they watched Hazel's dirty blonde hair slowly turn red. "I don't know, some kind of hemorrhagic fever. We just need to contain it before. . ."
Hazel suddenly threw up blood again, but remained unconscious. On the other side of the dropship, Derek began throwing up. Clarke rushed to his side, but was stopped by Finn. "Hey, don't touch me. You could get sick. Wash your hands. Now."
Derek continued to vomit, letting out pained grunts. "What the hell is happening to him?" Finn asked. They watched in shock as Derek continued to violently be sick.
Clarke shook her head, she was too scared to get close, "I don't know." The blonde princess glanced back at Hazel, knowing that instead of cowering away from the patient, the dirty blonde would be rushing towards him.
