Bellamy climbed down the ladder and looked over to see his sister, "You're still here?" He then turned his head even more to see Hazel sitting there as well. "And you've brought a friend. That's great." He was annoyed by the dirty blonde's presence for some reason. Maybe it was because Hazel didn't back him up in the whole Grounder situation or because the last time they had spoken she had made it very clear that she did not want him present, but neither of them knew for sure.
"I'm not moving until you let me up there to see him," Octavia bluntly responded, ignoring the comment about Hazel. The dirty blonde did so as well, not caring for the sibling's conversation.
Her brother scowled his familiar scowl, "Get comfortable." Bellamy looked away before turning back and saying, "I let him live. Isn't that enough?"
"He saved my life and yours," the brunette pointed out. Octavia was not going to let her brother walk all over her, not this time. It was amusing to Hazel, who had begun to notice how much of a backbone Octavia had grown over the past few days. She had always been a naive rebel, but now she actually had a genuine and good reason behind defying her older brother.
Bellamy ran one of his rough, calloused hands through his curly hair in frustration, "I know you see it that way, but. . ."
"That's the way it is."
Hazel smirked at the siblings from her odd position on the ground. She was currently lying on the ground with her legs straight up against the wall. It wasn't the most comfortable looking position but she didn't care. The dirty blonde was extremely bored and for some reason, she enjoyed looking up to see her feet above her. "He's still dangerous," Bellamy argued.
"Only because of what you did," came Octavia's defense.
Bellamy scoffed, "Whatever twisted connection you think you have with that animal, forget it. You don't get to see him. End of conversation." This made Hazel roll her eyes. She knew Octavia didn't care. If anything, getting banned from seeing the Grounder tempted her even more. The dark-haired teen would find a way around her annoying older brother, the two females were confident in this.
The curly haired brunette started to leave when Octavia suddenly found the courage to ask, "Why do you even care if I ruined your life? You should want me to go up there. Maybe you'll get lucky and he'll kill me, problem solved."
"You said that?" Hazel asked, grimacing as she realized she had voiced her thoughts out loud. The dirty blonde didn't mean to insert herself in the Blake sibling's issues, she just couldn't help it. Bellamy furrowed his eyebrows as he turned his attention toward her, ignoring her input as he asked, "How are you comfortable sitting like that?"
Hazel somehow managed a shrug from her strange position before she looked away awkwardly, not wanting to hear their sibling drama anymore so she could prevent herself from getting even more involved than she already was. The male Blake noticed that she was removing herself from the conversation so he turned back to his sister. "Octavia, you know I didn't mean that," he said, and was about to continue but stopped when Clarke walked in.
"Bellamy," she said, but he just walked past her, forgetting about his sister completely.
"The answer is still no. I'm not talking to Jaha." This reminded Hazel that the camp had successfully kept in contact with the Ark after the storm. She made a quick mental note to make sure she was able to speak to her dad by the end of the day. Each of the hundred were taking turns talking to their loved ones and it had yet to be Hazel's.
The short blonde haired girl placed her small hand on his muscular arm, "Hey, relax. That's not why I'm here."
"What, then?"
