The next week, Thursday. 7:30 AM
Nathan "Menace"
A week had gone by, Audrey and I haven't talked much, finally the day has come where I have to read to them damn lil kids.
Like I said, me and Audrey haven't been talking so much, however she has sent a few text messages making sure I wasn't doing anything I shouldn't have been.
And no, I haven't.
The withdrawal symptoms were kicking my ass, some days were worse than others. Some mornings I'd just be irritated, others I'd be tired, others I would be throwing up.
This morning I was fine.
I woke up, took a shower, made some breakfast, and prepared to get dressed.
There was no reason I had to flex on these kids, but then again..there could be someone taking pictures. I have to look my best.
I decided to throw on a black shirt, with a black denim jacket and black jeans. I put on my gold framed glasses and FaceTimed Audrey.
She picked up instantly, her phone must've been sitting against her mirror on her bathroom sink, because I had the view of her straightening her hair.
"You ready?" She asked me, running a comb through her hair, now straight hair.
"Yeah I'm dressed and everything, so you want me to send my driver to get you?" I asked her, fascinated by watching her get ready. She was now rubbing some oil on her face, making it shiny.
"I have a car, Nathan. I can just meet you at the school?"
"That won't be enough time..I need a pep talk beforehand."
"You mean to tell me that you preform in front of thousands of people..but you need a pep talk to read a book in front of some kids?" She said chuckling.
"Well damn when you say it like that it sounds a little stupid. I just want you here with me so we can ride together...I don't mean that in a like flirtatious way..but like-uh"
I'm fucking up.
"Fine, send your driver. Even though she annoys me."
"Who Shonda? Come on she's great. But if you don't like her I can send someone else. It's whatever you want."
"Honestly I can just Uber, you don't have to do all this." She said rolling her eyes.
You still cute.
"I'm sending a driver, that isn't Shonda. When you get here and we'll ride to the school together. Bye." I told her, hanging up the phone.
After hanging up, I messaged a driver to get Audrey, then set my phone down.
I looked at myself one more time in the mirror.
Not bad.
Suddenly, my phone vibrated on the dresser. Assuming it was Audrey, I picked it up to see what she'd said to me..
Danielle ❤️💍
Was the contact that appeared. Guess I forgot to delete her number.

Hope you're doing better. I have been talking to a guy as of right now, but I just wanted to check up on you. Tour starts in 2 months!I sighed at the message. With all this shit I've been doing I forgot all my Domestic Tour for the album release in February, I know if I tell Audrey she's going to rush that "plan" of hers.
