"So he cheated, then proposed to the girl?"

"They're married now." Audrey laughed.

I've never lived like how I've been living with Audrey for the past few months. Regular shit. Staying home, watching movies, cooking, grocery shopping..

I'd been in and out of the studio on the weekends, but no parties, no clubs, nothing.

And for some reason, I didn't have the desire to go out. I was comfortable here alone with Audrey. We'd have a few nights here in there where we'd get dressed and go out, but none of the harmful shit I was used to.

As of right now, we were in bed talking for hours about our past. We spent many nights like this.

"All my exes are either pregnant, strippers, or still fucking around LA."

"Interesting." She laughed. "What about the girls back in South Carolina?"

"Girls back in South Carolina? Like from high school?"

"Yeah." She shrugged.

"I dated one girl in high school. She got a family now." I said, thinking about the girl and our lengthy relationship. "It's different down there, Drey. Most people I knew are married now. Settled down and shit."

"I saw on Instagram that Rozz proposed to his girl."

"Yeah..that shits crazy. I don't know, sometimes I think I'm ready to sit my ass down."

"You think so?"

"Yeah..I love rapping. But the club appearances, drinking, the extra shit. I think imma chill out. Maybe I could be one of those rappers who keep it low key. It's crazy to think about how when I met you I had a problem."

She smiled.

She'd adjusted pretty well to the 'spotlight'. With our relationship being public for just over a month, she was growing used to the stares, the social media attention, fans asking me for pictures, etc.

"Can you believe how you overcame it though? It may have taken you to read to a bunch of kids, take a step back from your friends, spend some time with yourself...but you did it. I'm proud."

"You're saying me, me, me. But it was you..you're the reason that I'm okay right now."

"Only because you had the desire to be okay. That's the first step."

I'd never been close to a girl like I am with Audrey. I've never been this close to anyone.

"I love you Audrey." I said to her.

It wasn't so hard to say it these days.

"I love you too." She said, kissing my cheek. "When I start school, I want you to spend some time writing."

She leaned over, grabbing my small journal off the nightstand. It was rare I outsourced for lyrics..so I often wrote little ideas in the journal.

"I have been writing.."

"Not as much as you could be." She said, flipping through the pages. "Like this song..why haven't you finished it?"

I looked over at the page she was reading and immediately grabbed the notebook from her.

"That's not for me. I'm selling that."

"What? Why?"

"It's not a rap song..it's singing shit. A love ballad, if you will."
