Quarante / Bad Decision

Nathan

"I got you a hotel by my house..if something goes wrong, call me."

"What if- what if he saw?"

"He didn't see us, Danielle. I promise you. I got security for you, my boy will be in the room next to yours."

"Wha- what am I gonna do? I live with Cameron. He knows everything about me Nathan. He's gonna find me, he always finds out."

"You're gonna be okay. I gotta get back in the club, call me the second you feel something is wrong alright?"

Danielle, me, and a bodyguard had walked far down the street from the club..just to be safe. After figuring out a plan, I needed to get back to Audrey.

"Nathan please, will you just ride to the hotel with me?"

"D, I really gotta get back to my girl-"

"Please? It won't be that long."

Audrey

"Damn you throwing them drinks back like it's nothing." Bryshere laughed.

"I'm stressed. I have no idea where Nathan is, he refuses to answer the damn phone."

"That don't mean you gotta have a bad time. You wanna go dance?"

"I shouldn't, Bryshere."

"Come onnnn.."

"Fish. She said she shouldn't." Ty said, walking up to us with a clearly intoxicated girl on his arm.

"Mind your business."

"You and her both know her and Nathan wouldn't-"

"Nathan left with his ex. They've been gone for a while, I was just thinking we can just have a little fun to take her mind off of it." Bryshere shrugged.

"Fish she-"

"I just...wanna go.." I interrupted them.

The last thing I wanted to think about was Nathan and whatever it was he was currently doing with his ex, but it still clouded my mind. I didn't even feel like partying anymore, clearly the drinks were not working... because I couldn't seem to clear my head and have fun.

"Let me get you a ride, I don't trust Fish." Ty said.

"Says the nigga with a girl so drunk she probably don't remember her name." He retorted.

"Hey! I know my name.....it's....Isabel." The girl said stumbling over her words.

"Right. Listen, If Audrey wants to go home I'll gladly take her." Bryshere said looking down at me.

"You two can stop arguing because I have a driver! Look I'm going outside for fresh air. If Nathan comes back..tell him I left. Or don't..I don't care." I said, pushing through them to get to the door.

When I got outside, I immediately called Shonda, once I got confirmation she was on the way..I sat down on the sidewalk.

I didn't even feel like walking back inside. Soon, Bryshere came and sat next to me.

"You okay?"

"I'm fine..I just.."

"Audrey this is probably not what you wanna hear, but Nathan has done this before-"

"You're right. That's not what I wanna hear. If you don't mind, I'd like to just be alone for a minute?"

"Yeah I'll leave you..just remember. Don't pour all your time and energy into someone who doesn't deserve it."
