We made small talk while we waited for our food, as I stared at the rain outside I did some more thinking about where my friendship with Sam would go, I'll just take it day by day and see where it goes..maybe a relationship maybe not.

I also thought about Nathan, and how things would be a little awkward between us but I quickly forgot about that. Business relationship only, I shouldn't be stressing about it.

"So..are you gonna continue with this job? You know..after the rough day?"

"Oh of course...this is too big of an opportunity to just give up. This was just a learning experience that taught me to keep business and friendship completely separate. That's all."

"Makes sense I guess. I'm proud of you."

"Thanks.."

"I've been thinking about quitting the club, you inspired me to do what I want to do. And I decided..I wanna become a rapper." He smiled.

"Sam seriously?"

"Before you ask, this is not because of Menace or anyone. This is something I've wanted to do for a while..let me spit something to you real quick."

"Uh in the restaurant?" I asked him a little embarrassed.

"Yeah yeah just a little something. Let me find a beat." He opened YouTube on his phone and searched for an instrumental.

In my head I was dying.

"This'll do." He said playing the instrumental to Look At Me Now.

In. The. Restaurant.

He cleared his throat and began,

"I'm dedicating this rap to my girl Audrey,
She so fine I'd do her dirty laundry.

That's why I'm talking about you on this track."

He looked up at me for a reaction.

I smiled nervously. "Ok.."

"Yeah I like that so far, I might have to get in the booth with that, what you thinking?"

"Well I..I think you should do what makes you happy."

"Thanks, I'm really passionate about this."

Graham

"Man you're really tripping about your assistant? Really?" I asked Ace.

"I just hope I didn't fuck up what we had..not that we had anything..it's just-"

"You're tripping. Focus on Danielle man.."

We were chilling at my house, sparking up. Well I was, this nigga talking about he clean.

"Graham! I thought we were supposed to be going shopping this evening, instead your down there smoking with that roach." Deidra yelled from the top of the stairs.

Ace stuck his middle finger up at her, while I sighed. "We just went shopping a couple days ago Deidra."
