We'd been out shopping almost all day, it mostly consisted of Audrey liking stuff, then me begging her to try it on. After getting lunch, we were heading back home to get ready.

"Tonight's about to be crazyyyy. I already hit my niggas up."

"I hope you know, you're still on probation. No drinks tonight."

"Damn okay mom." I said to Audrey, who was tryna kill the vibe.

When we got in the house it was around 5, meaning it was about time for the pregame.

"I'm gonna get ready, you can do your hair and makeup and shit..because pretty soon everyone's gonna be here."

"I have to pregame with y'all?" She groaned.

"Yes. Now go choose one of those outfits I got you, you looked good in that white dress."

"Thank you. Now I know what not to wear. And am I gonna be the only girl in the group tonight?"

"Audrey don't even trip. Once we start popping bottles all the bitches gonna flock to our booth. Not to mention it's me we're talking about."

"Ugh." She said to herself as she went upstairs to get ready.

My doorbell rang and I already knew who it was.

I opened the door and the entire group entered loudly.

"Ayyeee!!! Gang shit!!"

"Why you ain't been coming out like you used to? Square ass nigga." My nigga Fish said, pushing past me and going to the kitchen for bottles.

"Man I'm on some sobriety shit."

"Sobriety?!" They all said together.

"Yeah, my habit was getting out of hand."

"Man. It's a girl ain't it?" Ant said laughing.

"I don't know why you're laughing Anthony, your girl don't let your ass leave the house." Rozz joked back.

"You niggas are clowns."

"You're lucky we brought our own bottles." Ty said placing two Hennessy bottles on my counter.

"We starting off with shots. Ace...I guess you can do some water shots." Fish said tossing me a bottle of water, making everyone laugh.

"Y'all ain't shit." I said shaking my head. What's taking Audrey so long.

"I'll be right back, my girl Audrey is coming out with us."

"Your girl?" Fish said raising his eyebrows.

"Not like that..she's my friend. For right now."

As I finished straightening my hair, Nathan bursts in my room.

"They downstairs doing shots..you coming?"

"I don't know...you know I'm shy Nathan."

"Come on, You'll have fun." He said extending his hand to me. I reluctantly took it and followed him to the steps.

"After you." He said letting me take the lead. I'm sure he thinks that I thought that was him being a gentleman, when in actuality I fully notice it was an excuse to watch me walk in front of him.
