sister, we are back at it. enjoy. I'm feeling so inspired!!
I was so happy y'all enjoyed No More Parties In LA, I decided to keep writing!!!
Nathan "Menace"
I woke up being pushed into a car, hearing loud cursing.
"What the hell is wrong with you?! You made a promise not to do this again and now you're so drunk you can't even fucking think!"
Audrey.
"Audrey- I.. it was just."
"There's no excuses!"
I noticed that we weren't in the limo from before, but Shonda was driving us instead. Everyone must've left already.
"Do you care about yourself?! Be honest. A month of sobriety Nathan! Did that mean nothing to you?!"
I couldn't form a sentence, I couldn't form an excuse, all I could do was listen.
"I trusted you not to be stupid tonight, and the second I let you out of my sight you throw back shots."
"Relax.." I said, trying to get her to stop yelling. My headache was killing me and she was only making it worse.
"I can't relax! How could you be so dumb???"
I didn't say anything back. I didn't have anything to say. I remembered feeling weird about Fish and Audrey, so I started doing shots to distract myself. I shouldn't have let it get out of hand.
"I drank to distract myself." I said lowly. I can't lie, I'm embarrassed.
"Distract yourself from what Nathan? You were having a great time."
"From...you."
"Me? If you didn't want me there why did you invite me?"
"That's the problem, I did want you there. I wanted to show you a nice time and all you cared about was being all up on Bryshere."
She scoffed. "He was right, you did send Ty over to keep us apart."
"I don't remember any of that, but Audrey I really, really feel something for you." I confessed. I can't keep trying to hide it.
"Oooh snap." I heard Shonda say to herself.
"You don't mean that."
"I do..I'm sure I do. Give me a chance baby-"
"I'm so sorry to interrupt y'all, but we've been here for a good 2 minutes." Shonda said, causing me to look out of the window, seeing my house.
Audrey sighed, and got out the car. So naturally, I followed her.
"You need to do better." She told me, as she typed in the code to get in the house.
"You make me better."
She shook her head to herself. She's still irritated, but I could tell she was calming down.
"How are you feeling?"
"Headache. And I'm hot as hell."
"Go sit on the counter." She told me, before jogging upstairs.
I hopped up on my countertop and waited for her return; she came down with a pill bottle, a t shirt, and a washcloth.
"Now..I'm going to say this one time. When you fuck up, it's my job to help you fix it. But remember you are an adult." She said placing the damp washcloth on my head, giving me almost instant relief.
