Nathan and I didn't take his car home, he had a driver do it..and he rode in the backseat with me.

"Why didn't you drive?"

"I ain't feel like it." He said slouching down in the seat of the car. This car was black, with tinted windows..for some reason it felt weird, no one could see in.

The driver was rude as hell, a loud woman who was on the phone while driving.

"Girl you won't believe what happened! Lemme tell you..." I overheard the woman.

"Ooh Audrey shh. These stories are always good." Nathan said sitting up.

This nigga..

"So my man was kissing me or whatever...and I pulled away hella quick. I ask this nigga, WHO'S PUSSY YOU BEEN EATING? Then my man was like, how you know what pussy taste like? So now I'm sitting there looking stupid."

Oh my god, I mumbled to myself.

"Mind you, I don't like girls..but I tried it that one time in the Chili's bathroom-"

After that I stopped listening. The whole conversation kept Nathan's attention, and he was dying of laughter. It wasn't that funny to me, a public restroom is not the place for sexual experimenting.

After riding for another 20 minutes, Nathan scooted up and whispered something to the driver, and scooted back.

"You hungry?" He asked me.

"Well-"

"We're going to a diner." He interrupted me. He pulled a hat out of the glove box of the car and pushed it down on his head.

"Oh, alright then." I told him, shrugging.

"Oooh can I go?"The woman asked Nathan.

"Shonda, you know you my girl. But, I just want a nice breakfast date with my baby." He told her.

"Oh your baby coming with us? Where she at?" I asked him, looking around.

"Aha very funny."

"If I'm going to be working for you, you have to stop the flirting. Our relationship is strictly business, plus part of the plan is to get Danielle back, remember?"

"Who?....Ohhhh my ex. Yeah sure that's the plan."

"I mean it. No nicknames, no touching, no nothing."

"Alright baby. No nicknames."

She glared at me in the worst way possible.

"I was just playing, I promise." I told her in defense.

We made it to the diner and Audrey and I got out the car. I pushed my hat down one more time, I didn't want groupies or paparazzi to ruin my breakfast.

We approached the entrance and I opened the door for Audrey on some chivalry shit. I'm over here acting like a gentleman and what not, if I keep it up maybe she'll forget about the whole "strictly business" bullshit.

"Thanks." She said walking in the diner in front of me.

"No problem."

"Sir, you can't wear a hat in here. Please remove it or leave." The hostess bitch said.

I sucked my teeth and took out my wallet. I swiftly pulled out a fifty and placed it in her hand. "Imma keep my hat on."

She quickly stuffed the fifty in her back pocket and straightened out her apron thing.

"Understood. Table for two?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Right this way." The lady said leading us to a table close to the back.

"Really? You couldn't just take the hat off?" Audrey said rolling her eyes.

"You'll thank me later." I told her as we both took a seat across from each other in the booth.

"Whatever. So let's talk more about this job. When do I get my first check?"

"Hm...."

"Before you answer, keep in mind my rent is due the week after next." She said quietly.

"How much is your rent?" I questioned out of curiosity.

"$600."

"$600? That explains a lot.." I mumbled.

"Maybe I can be living better if you pay me. Which will be..when, exactly?"

"Next week. If you behave."

"Excuse me-" She began, before I interrupted her.

"Take a joke, Audrey."

"Suck a dick, Nathan." She retorted.

"Aye aye aye. Is that how you talk to your boss?" I replied, causing her to roll her eyes.

"Fine. Suck a dick, sir."

I was sending text after text to Ace. No response.

This nigga probably drunk passed out on his kitchen floor, shit...it wouldn't be the first time.

I decided to open up Instagram, just to see what's up with the hoes on my timeline. Yeah Deidra was cute, but I don't know if I could really pursue her after we already smashed. She was too easy.

As I was scrolling I see a picture of that Audrey girl, when I saw who posted it I shook my head. This nigga Ace flaunting this girl like she his.

It was an off guard picture of her sitting at a table, she probably didn't even know he took it, let alone post it.

I sucked my teeth and went to the comment section.

The two comments made me chuckle, and there were many more like it. Along with some just asking "what's her @????"

I texted Ace one last time, asking him about that shit he posted.

Out of nowhere I got a FaceTime call from him. I answered it, and saw that he appeared to be in a restaurant or something.

"Why you blowing up my phone?" He asked.

"Because you wasn't answering. And what's this I see you posting Audrey on your IG?"

"You what?!" I heard a female voice say.

"Shh calm down. I posted Audrey because I wanted the world to see a new addition to my life. I hired her." Ace said speaking to both me and the girl.

"That sounds like some bullshit to me. What did you hire her to do?"

"None of your business nigga." He said before hanging up.

Bipolar ass.

If this nigga done got him a sexy house maid I'ma be jealous as hell. I should've hit it when I had my chance.
