" Look at them." Rozz said, watching the girls take pictures.

Audrey and I expanded the couple's trip to a few more of the friends. Ty and his new girl Kai, Rozz and his fiancé, Ant and his girlfriend Maya, even Graham and Deidra.

It was now more than just an engagement celebration for Rozz, but a well-planned getaway for each of our close friends.

When we all landed in Mexico, the girls demanded to get straight to the beach..and the moment they got there, an impromptu photo shoot commenced.

"Drey's having such a nice time." I said, more to myself than anyone.

"Aww. You in love and shit." Ty said, making the other guys laugh.

None of my friends hesitated to comment on the changes in me, not just my behavior..but attitude as well.

"Shut up."

"Nah really. I mean, you're so different even since the last time we were all together. That party? Where you lost your shit because of Bryshere? I mean then it seemed like you were just trying to smash her. Now..you got feelings and shit."

"I liked her then, I love her now. That's it." I assured him.

"Sooo, when's the ring going on?" Rozz inquired.

"I'm thinking about that...ain't rushing it though."

Sooner than he'd might expect.

"Nathan! Come here!" Audrey yelled to me, interrupting the conversation.

"I'll be back," I told the guys, making my way over to her.

"The girls want to go to the bar tonight, I want you to come with me..and as long as you're responsible-"

"You and I have our own plans for tonight, so no." I said, wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Plans?"

"Yes Drey, we have plans."

"I don't wanna miss out on the-"

"Audrey the bar will be there tomorrow. Go with Ace." Deidra interrupted.

Even with our...rough...past, when planning some of the more important details of this trip with Audrey, I consulted Deidra for advice.

"Fine...Whatever our plans are, they better be cute."

"I promise, you'll like it."

Hours went by, we explored the beach, the resort, and of course— our rooms.

"This is beautiful Nathan." Audrey said, sitting onto the bed.

"I had to get us the best room. Especially for...something like this."

"It's perfect. I mean..we have a hammock! How cool is that?"

"I'm glad you like it, Drey." I laughed. "Now, the sun is setting. You should start getting ready for our night."

"You still haven't told me what this night is all about."

"That's for me to know and you to...not know. I don't know how the saying goes, point is..it's a surprise."

"But-"

"Hold on. It's so much of a surprise that we aren't getting ready together...so you get yourself all dressed up, and I'll meet you." I said, glancing at my watch to ensure I was on track with my schedule.
