I haven't updated this in so long, writers block is really hurting me. I'm not gonna let this book go to shit like my older ones did..so imma do my best. Thank y'all for listening, here's the chapter

Audrey

"You do too much." I said, putting on one of Nathan's shirts.

"Me?" He chuckled.

"Yes, you. Were you trying to get us caught?"

"Were you? I was quiet. You were the one screaming names and shit."

"Because of you..."

"Hey, I can't control the sounds you decide to make. All I know is, if my mom were to hear you screaming like a banshee-"

"Nathan."

"Let me finish. My mom don't play about that shit. She probably thinks that I'm saving myself until marriage."

"You're kidding, right?"

"No, I am not. And If she heard you with all your 'yes omg daddy' she would lose her mind."

"First of all, I never said that."

"That's not the point. You gotta be more careful."

"You're right. We' just won't have sex until she leaves."

"Hold up hol up I ain't say all that-"

"That's easier than having to sneak and whisper."

"Audrey."

"You will be okay, damn. You've been without sex before."

"I don't wanna be just oKAy. I'm tryna nut."

"And I'm not stopping you from doing that." I said, turning over to go to sleep.

Nathan

While Audrey slept next to me, I stayed up watching some house renovating show. However, I was interrupted by my phone ringing.

To avoid waking Audrey, I went into the bathroom. Not that many people had my number, so usually when I get phone calls, it's from someone worth speaking to.

"Hello?"

"Yo. Ace."

I instantly recognized the voice. Sampson.

"What's up? Why you calling so late?"

"It's about yo girl..Audrey?"

"Yeah..what about her?"

"Yeah..you can tell her I won't be needing an assistant anymore."

"Nigga what? You're firing her on the first day?"

"Man I ain't know y'all was together, she's a great girl..hard working. But uhh I'm kind of looking for someone a lil different."

"So you firing her cause I'm with her? Clearly you were just tryna fuck. You realize you can't play with someone's career like that?"

"Don't act like you would've hired her if she wasn't cute. Why is it okay for you to hire a girl you wanna fuck and not me?"

"I didn't hire her because she's cute I hired her because she was passionate about helping me."

"Look man, she's just not what I was looking for." he said before hanging up.

This was beyond troubling. Audrey can't be without a job. The field she really wants to go into almost always requires a college education, I can only get her but so many hook ups as an assistant, and she's so stubborn she would never let me take just care of her.
