Thirty- Four

Nick's POV

I was literally making a deal with the devil himself. But if its for Jo , I don't care.

" Here's the thing , Jo is really important to me. I raised her even if she wasn't my blood. We have an father- daughter relationship and I'm not willing to break that relationship. From when she was a baby till now I have been watching over her so I'm not gonna let a boy like you have her life in your hands. " He said as he stared at me with anger , I'm the one that should be angry.

" So what you're saying is that if I cut off all strings attached to Jo and let you guys get back to your life , you won't kill me ? Is that what you're saying? Cause if so ... I rather die. " I said flatly , shrugging. He has to be out his rabbit ass mind.

" Who said you were the only one apart of this deal ? Do you really think I'll let you off that easy ? " He scoffed , I didn't know if I should be scared or not. He called in somebody and now I was even more confused.

A young boy , no older than 4 or 5. He looked a lot like Jo but more like Ace. The boy had curly , light brown eyes - similar to Jo's - , caramel skin . He looked terrified almost .

" Who is this ? "

" 2 years ago , I kidnapped my wife's son. You see not only did she cheat on me once but she cheated on me twice with my brother. I decided to play a little trick. " He sat the little boy down in the chair in front of me.

" I made my nephews shoot this boy right here. Now , it wasn't an actual bullet it was a little something to knock him out for hours . I took him and yeah , here we are. " He chuckled , how the fuck did Jo's mom let this man raise her.

I could only imagine the chaos after this. If Jo finds out , all hell will break loose and I would lose her either way. She would break down or even try anything to stop suffering.

Imagine being lied to your whole life ? Everything anybody said to you or about was a lie and everybody knew about it. Jo has been suffering for years more than she knew. I have to find a way to get her out of all this.

" This is - you're Jeziah ? The one that Jo told me about. " I stammered , he nodded. It was like a flame lit up inside me. I remembered how she blamed herself and cried so much. Zion used to tell me how she even cut herself cause of this. " Are you fucking insane ? Do
you know how much shit you put Jo & your family through ? "

" I'm not finished. This comes to the part of my deal , its either you leave Jo alone or you and this boy dies. " He threaten , I was taken back at his choice.

Killing a innocent boy cause of he was wants his daughter in his possession ? I don't know if I ever dealt with a man more crazier than my father but here I am. Christian is way more worse than him.

" You're fucking sick. " I grimaced. He just laughed , the little boy had tears running down his cheeks. I just wanted to take him and leave.

" Take it or leave it. "

" Where will the boy go ? "

" His mother , I'm leaving that evil bitch. " He pulled a cigarette and lighter out his pocket , lighting it up before throwing the lighter on the table. Inhaling , exhaling , he looked stress.

" Ill leave Jo alone only if she wants to. I can't force her away. You know how she is. " I shrugged which made him chuckle.
