Quentin's POV

Tanner was being oddly flirty with the nurse and I gave a questioning look to Lindsey. She was already giving me the same look. When Tanner asked who Lindsey was, I could see all of the pigment drain from her face. "Here you go cutie," The nurse came in to give Tanner food and leaned over to show her cleavage. Lindsey gave her a dirty look and stormed out of the room. "Thank you," Tanner smiled flirtatiously at the nurse. "Bro what is wrong with you?" Dylan snapped. "Dylan," I put my hand on him. "Where is his doctor? I need to speak to his doctor," Kim demanded from the nurse. "You can ask me. The doctor is talking to another patient right now," The young nurse said in a nasally voice. "I don't have any questions for you. I want to speak to his doctor," Kim said in a rude tone. I tried to hide my smile and the young nurse nodded. "I'll go get him," she smirked and walked out. The four of us sat in silence. After a few minutes, the doctor came in. "Nurse Kelly said you had questions," The doctor asked. "He doesn't remember his girlfriend. Why is that?" Kim bit her nail. Tanner looked confused. "When did he and his girlfriend start dating? Or when did they meet?" He asked. "We met her like 3 months ago," I jumped in. "Okay, so when Tanner hit his head on the ground, he may have injured the part of his brain that held the memories from the past couple months including his girlfriend," the doctor explained. "Wait, so he doesn't remember anything from the past 3 or 4 months?" Dylan asked shocked. "No. I'm afraid not," The doctor shook his head. "Then how does he remember us?" Dylan asked. "He's known us for years," I nodded. The doctor nodded and I sighed."Oh shit," I ran my fingers through my hair. "Where did Lindsey go?" Dylan asked. "I don't know," I bit my lip. "Wait, so that girl that was in here..." Tanner started. "Yes you are dating her," I nodded. "Damn. I pulled that?" He questioned. I lightly smiled and nodded. "I don't know anything about her. I can't be with her," Tanner told us. Dylan and I nodded and looked at each other. "One of us needs to go find her," Dylan sighed. "You go ahead," I patted his arm. "Alright. I'll be back later. Feel better man," Dylan said hugging Tanner. "What is her name?" Tanner asked. "Lindsey," I told him. "How'd I meet her?" He asked. "Long story," I told him. He nodded and ate his food. I'm really scared thatTanner and Lindsey won't be okay.

Lindsey's POV

I picked the rust off the fence and looked at my phone.I had a ton of texts from people, but I ignored it and continued to watch the sunset. After a half hour of me sitting around, I heard a car pull up. I decided not to turn around. At this point, I would have been okay if it was a murder. "If you're here to kill me, just do it," I sighed. "I wouldn't do that," Dylan's voice echoed as he sat next to me. "Pretty sunset," he said and looked at me. "What are you doing here?" I said not taking my eyes off the sun. "Someone needed to talk to you," He said and stood up. "Stand," he touched my back. I shook my head no and he pulled me off the fence. "Have you been drinking?" He asked when I fell against the fence. I nodded and felt my eyes start to get heavy. "Want some?" I whispered and held up the empty bottle. "No," he said grabbing it from my hands. "Why?" He asked putting it on the ground. "I don't want to remember either," I felt a tear slip. Dylan wiped the tear and he held me up straight. "If my dumbass didn't go for a walk, none of this would've happened," I stomped my foot. "It is not your fault Lindsey," Dylan said. I started to lean so he put his hand on my hip to steady me. "Should've just stay with you," I lightly laughed. Dylan didn't say anything. I looked at Dylan and he was looking down. "Dylan, my drunk self is telling me to kiss you. My sober self is telling me that I'm head over heels in love with Tanner and need to convince him that he knows exactly who I am," I sighed. "Listen to your sober self," Dylan nodded. "I need to go home," I put my hand on my head. "Alright I'll drive you," He said taking the keys from my pocket. "What about your car?" I asked as he helped me into the passenger's seat. "I'll get it later," Dylan told me as he turned the car on. I rested my head and arm in the middle of the two front seats and fell asleep.
