Mark had dropped Jungkook off back home and handed him the bag with his uniform and his schoolbag from the backseat. "Well tonight was interesting. We must do it again sometime!" He smiled, feeling slightly uneasy about what he'd let himself do and what would no doubt continue happening until one of them got a real boyfriend or girlfriend.
"Oh, yes," Jungkook agreed. "And we really must have a sleepover sometime," he grinned cheekily.
Mark thumped his shoulder. "You are too young for that stuff!"
Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "Too young? Give over, I'm 18 years old! Besides, I didn't mean it entirely like that! You want to be prepared for your first real relationship, right?"
Mark rolled his eyes. "Ever heard of going with the flow?"
"Of course! Which is why I suggested it," Jungkook shrugged with a slightly shy smile.
"Are all teenagers as horny as you?"
"Most definitely. I'm just like everyone else, right?" He laughed. "Anyway. Tomorrow I'm going with Yoongi, Seokjin and Namjoon to meet the Boss so I might not see you outside of lessons. I want to be prepared for this meeting."
Mark nodded. "Good idea. Please be very careful, Kookie. If you get hurt, I might have to kill someone. I don't want to lose my job and go to prison, okay?"
Jungkook leaned over and pecked his lips. "Of course, boyfriend!" He winked and opened the car door. "See you tomorrow!"
"Bye, Kookie!"
As Jungkook tried to sleep that night - after warding off an annoyed and curious Junghyun - he couldn't stop thinking about Taehyung. His face was all he could see when he closed his eyes. He looked betrayed. Jungkook scoffed mentally. As if Taehyung would give a damn that he was with someone else. If anything, he'd think he was a freak if he knew it was a guy. Nevertheless, he couldn't escape the face that haunted his dreams.

At school the next day, he told Yugyeom not to bother asking Mina out. He told him he'd decided he didn't want a girlfriend. He wanted to concentrate on studying first. Yugyeom had understood, although he had said that study and relationships could easily be balanced.
After school, Yoongi, Seokjin and Namjoon were waiting for him in the music room. He'd spent most of break being prepped by Seokjin away from Hoseok. He'd been warned about the Boss's moods and how when he was calm he was unsettling but to act confident. By the end of break, his stomach had been quivering with nerves. In English, even the secret smiles from Mark hadn't defeated them entirely.
"Are you ready?" Seokjin asked calmly, placing a hand on Jungkook's shoulder. The latter turned to him and looked boldly into his eyes.
"Ready as I'll ever be."
As they pulled into the dark street onto a road of warehouses, Jungkook thought it was very familiar to the place BTS had stolen the drugs from just a few days before. The streetlights were turned on all the way down the street, right up to the warehouse gates Yoongi stopped outside of. That particular warehouse was shrouded in darkness. There were no cars in the car park and Jungkook soon realised why. The gates swung open when Yoongi pulled the keypad panel across and pressed his thumb against the blue screen and they drove through towards a smaller garage sized door on the far side of the building. Once again, he pressed his thumb on the scanner and the doors opened upwards revealing an underground car park. He parked the car expertly and they all climbed out.
"Welcome to the base," Yoongi whispered in the petrified Jungkook's ear. He shook his head with a pitiful smile when he saw the fear so plain on his face. "Don't look afraid. That will be your biggest mistake."Jungkook walked between Seokjin and Yoongi whilst Namjoon lead the way.
Inside was nothing like he'd expected. It was actually fancy! There was a lobby where a few men in worn looking black jackets stood chatting quietly. When they saw the group of students walk in they didn't bat an eyelid. Until they saw Jungkook. Evidently everyone knew everyone here and he wasn't anyone.
His two 'guards' kept him close by as two men who didn't look much older than they were came up to them.
"Well, well, well! Who's the newbie?" The tall blond haired one asked. He didn't seem dangerous and he spoke quite casually, but Jungkook didn't miss the scowl that crossed Seokjin's face as the black haired guy next to the blond one smirked.
"He's none of your business, Zelo," Yoongi stared him down and Zelo backed up in mock surrender.
"The Boss has ramped up his security since there was an attempted break in two days ago," the black haired one said. He had a deep voice and eyes that sparkled with malice when he spoke. And the malice always increased when he looked at Seokjin. That confused Jungkook. How could anyone ever hate Seokjin?
"Break in?" Namjoon asked. "Was the culprit caught?"
"Yes. He's been... taken care of," was the casual reply from Zelo.
"So. We will escort you to the office after we've checked you for hidden weapons," the sinister one said blankly and started with Namjoon. Zelo went to Yoongi and searched him. When they were clean, Zelo searched Jungkook and Yongguk searched Seokjin. When he looked to his hyung, Jungkook saw Seokjin was red with anger and gritting his teeth and knew they had some sort of bad blood between them.
It was when the searcher pulled the wallet out of Seokjin's blazer pocket that Seokjin seemed to snap. "Don't you dare!" He growled as his tormentor began to open it. His hand shot out and grabbed it before it could be opened fully.
"Got something to hide, Jin?" He smirked.
Namjoon stepped forward. "Back off, Yongguk. Just take us to the Boss already. We're expected."
They were lead around a maze of corridors until they reached an elevator. They all crammed into the small space, pressed the button for the first floor and waited. It was awkward for Jungkook but he sensed that it was more tense for the others. He wondered what the history between them was. When they arrived at the top, they found themselves in a small waiting room. Sat behind the desk was a handsome, official looking man with black hair and almond shaped eyes.
"S.Coups," Yongguk nodded at the guy at the desk, who stood up and walked over to them.
"Guys," S.Coups said to Yoongi, Seokjin and Namjoon with a smile.
"Hey, how's it going," Yoongi smiled at him. "I haven't seen you here in ages! Where have you been?"
S.Coups shook his head. "He sent me off on business. Made a nice change."
He lead them to the Boss's door and knocked, as Yongguk and Zelo left. The reply was instantaneous.
"Come in!" From his voice, Jungkook couldn't tell what type of mood he was in.
S.Coups opened the door and ushered them in before closing it after them. Jungkook kept his eyes on the floor as they walked in. He was still preparing his face. He wanted to look calm and collected in front of the Boss.
He heard the voice before he saw the face. "So. You're the mysterious device owner?"
At the question, Yoongi nudged him in the back, pointing out that he should answer.
He found himself looking up at the Boss. He couldn't stop his eyes from widening. He was so young! He looked only to be in his early twenties! He had close cropped dark brown hair and large eyes which were, at that moment, staring curiously into his own. His features were fairly relaxed and the only thing that unnerved Jungkook were his lips. Rather than being caught in a scowl, he wore a smile. One of smug conviction.

Question of the Chapter: Who do you most want to marry?
I had to think too hard about this 😂 it was between Suho and Jungkook but I chose Jungkook because he's younger 😆
