The tornados run rampant around the city but the Guardians deal with them accordingly and save the citizens of New York in the process.
"Lynx I'm changing your play." Stacey says through coms.
"Talk to me." Lynx
"Breeze keeps producing more and more tornados so I'm thinking you can draw her focus to a single spot." Stacey
"Hold that thought." Lynx
Lynx would then leap into the air, catch a man thats caught the tornado's updraft and land on a nearby building.
"Where is little miss airhead?" Lynx
"Heading for Madison Square Garden. If you move now you'll meet here there. The area's been cleared so you can keep her there." Stacey
"Got it." Lynx
Just then a blue barrier forms in the shape of the tornado and begins to shrink until the tornado is no more.
"Shall I assist you?" A-Ram asks floating above Lynx.
"I actually need you to take care of the other tornados in this area if you wouldn't mind? You can join me afterwards." Lynx
"Very well." A-Ram says then flies over to deal with the said tornados.
"Glad he's on our side." Lynx says then leaps to her objective.
"No kidding." Stacey
Over at the Madison Square Garden Breeze levitates on while surrounded by tornados as if they were her guards and rightfully so. A pick up truck comes flying in towards her but is quickly is bounced away. She looks over to see Lynx stand in the street.
"Howdy Breezy!" Lynx said as she waves her hand.
"Well, well. It took you long enough to find me! And you will reframe from calling me my previous alias. You will call me... Ēther" Ēther
"Ēther huh? The upper regions of air beyond the clouds.... Clever!" Lynx
"Your gratitude is not welcomed. I will however say thank you." Ēther says as she diminishes the surrounding tornados.
"A thank you? What for exactly?" Lynx
"If it wasn't for you and your constant heroing, I wouldn't have came to the conclusion that I am weak and we wouldn't have sought out for more power." Ēther
"We? As in you, Tsunami now known as Cold Front..." Lynx
"And our eldest, formally known as Quake." Ēther
"And what does he call himself now?" Lynx
"That my dear feline, I will leave up to him when he decides to show himself. As for you I do plan on ending you here so do you have any last words?" Ēther
".... What happened to your accent? Cause I gotta admit I kinda prefer it over this proper girl routine you got going." Lynx
"Tsk. Typical comedian to the bitter end!" Ēther
With a simple swing of her hand Ēther creates blades of wind and sends them flying after Lynx. Lynx quickly leaps back, performs a series of backflips, stops in front of a building and jumps up along it. Lynx grabs the edge of the roof, swings herself onto the ledge and looks down to see the cuts in the street and the building she stands on from the wind attack.
"Whoa... That's new." Lynx
Lynx looks up to see Ēther create a large wind spear and hold it above her head.
"So is that!" Lynx
Ēther sends the wind spear after Lynx. Lynx would dive out of the way towards her left, the spear impacts the roof and releases a heavy wind in all directions sending Lynx over to the other edge of the rooftop. Lynx would land on her feet, turn and sees that the impact left a gaping hole in the center of the building.
"Hahahaha! Impressed? I am. I never thought my control of the wind would be to this extent. I think its safe to say that I have achieved my goal?" Ēther
".... Yeesh.. Keeping her here might cause more trouble to the city if this escalates...." Lynx
Ēther then launches a large ball of pressurized air after Lynx but Lynx quickly reacts by clapping her hands together creating a thunder clap witch cancels out the wind ball.
"Well, well how clever you are. Let's see how well you do against this!" Ēther says as she creates a large tornado.
It heads straight for Lynx with increasing ferocity. Before Lynx could react the tornado is suddenly surrounded by a purple barrier until it is completely gone.
"What?! Who dares interfere?!" Ēther asks looking around.
"A-Ram?... No, that's the wrong color..." Lynx says then catches a familiar scent.
Lynx looks up behind of her to see the one responsible for her aid is none other than Seraiah The Jinn. Both Seraiah and Lynx stare after each other with great intensity.
"You! Who are you?!" Ēther
Seraiah didn't answer and kept her stare down with Lynx.
"You're ignoring me?!" How dare you!!" Ēther says then summons a couple of tornados.
With a wave of her hand Seraiah creates an enormous see through wall of energy much bigger than the created tornados. Not only did the wall successfully repel the oncomming tornados but it was all done without neither Seraiah nor Lynx taking their eyes off of each other. Seeing that only made Ēther angrier.
"You ignore me still?! The nerve of you insolent pests!! I whom have reached the pinacle of my abilities will not be denied my moment to shine!!" Ēther
"Easy little sis! Don't lose your cool now of all times!" A familiar voice says nearby.
Ēther turns to see Quake walking on the scene from the street.
"It's a good thing your big brother now known as Seismic is here to back you up." Seismic formally known as Quake says.
"You got out this early?! That's... You're more durable than I thought... None the less I don't need your help for these two!" Ēther
"No.. You do and you will accept my help either way." Seismic says as he stretches his body.
"Tsk!... Fine.. Let's just be done with it!" Ēther
All of this goes on and Lynx hasn't taken her eyes off of Seraiah and Seraiah the same. They are completely aware of the current situation but none the less keep their focus locked on each other.
