69. Regret

The team breaks the earth's atmosphere and enter space to begin their journey to Oya. Moments later Leonis activates the autopilot and makes his way out of the cockpit. As he opens the door the first person he sees is Artwork who is currently walking towards the cockpit.

"Oh hey. I was just coming to give you this." Artwork says as she holds up a rather large lunch box.

"Thanks. I was literally on my way to grab something to eat actually. How's the tension with you know who on board?" Leonis says then grabs the lunch box.

"Tch! I came to give you this so I could cool my head. She's currently in the passenger area where as Alix and a few others are in the training room." Artwork says as she looks angrily in the direction that she came from.

Artwork turns back to Leonis and the first thing she sees is that the lunch box that she brought is opened and already completely empty. She gives a blank stare towards the lunch box, looks up to Leonis and notices a couple grains of rice on his face all while keeping her blank stare.

"Did you at least take a breathe?" Artwork

"Can't remember. Do me a favor and call those who aren't in the training room to the training room. I'll meet you all there." Leonis

Leonis hands the empty lunch box to Artwork and walks past her.

"What for? Where're you off to?" Artwork

"Passenger area." Leonis

Artwork stares off, gives a blank look and shakes her head. Currently located in the passenger area is Kuvalix who is starring at stars through the nearest window. She is so lost in thought that she did not notice Leonis walk up to her.

"16 years." Leonis

Kuvalix jumps the moment she hears Leonis's voice. Her eyes meets a gaze that she did not expect to see. Everyone else has given looks of hateful, disgust and even murderous intent but not Leonis. Leonis has a calm yet serious expression.

"I... Um..." Kuvalix

"Though I don't think I was any better." Leonis says then walks to stare out of the window next to Kuvalix.

Kuvalix did not know how to respond and kept silent.

"The day you left was not a good day." Leonis

Kuvalix instantly feels an enormous amount of pressure waying on her heart and tears immediately begin to gather in her eyes. She instantly gets up and moves to Leonis's side.

"Leonis.... It was against the law of my people to mate with any other species besides our own. In fact that was the only law that was the most strick and yet... I.... I ignored it. I was next in line to take the throne and I committed a sin that I could not undo. It was because my love for you overtook all meaning in my life and I..... I would not have hesitated to relinquish my future duties if I had a sibling but I am an only child and I-" Kuvalix

"The day you left, all of our guards were down and our son was kidnapped right from under our noses." Leonis

Kuvalix pauses for a split second to process what Leonis had just said. When it does process, Kuvalix's eyes slowly widen in shock. Moments later, Jordan gathered everyone in the training room like Leonis asked and they currently await his arrival.

"Wonder what's taking big red so long?" Miracle asks while holding up a mirror in front of Jordan.

"He went to go fetch she who disgusts me. They're most likely having some form of conversation." Artwork

"Wonder what about?" Insight says as she braids her mother's hair.

Both Stacey and Lynx are lying on their stomachs, facing each other and are currently ingaged in an arm wrestling match with Stacey using her left metal arm to match Lynx's strength. The moment they hear Insight's question they both give concerned looks but keep their arm wrestling going. Charger is looking out of the large window with the upmost anticipation while Power Surge floats in the air, layed back, eyes closed and is lost in thought. Moments later Kuvalix bursts through the door with tears pouring down her cheeks and it would catch everyone's attention. The moment Kuvalix looks up and spots Yakalix she shoots up with her flying ability, wraps her arms around his body and buries her face in his stomach.
