Lynx slowly opens her eyes and the first thing she sees is a white ceiling. She slowly looks at her surroundings and realizes that she is in a bedroom that is quite familiar to her. Still feeling groggy Lynx slowly gets up and walks towards the door. She walks down the hallway passing a few other bedrooms and comes to a stop when she sees Seraiah standing with her hand resting on Power Surge's forehead.
"The hell are you doing?!" Lynx asks just as she readies herself for a fight.
Seraiah turns around to see Lynx at the door and also saw Allana quickly grab Lynx's arm to get her attention.
"You're supposed to be taking a cat nap." Allana
"Allana? It must be serious if you're here... Who is she and what is she doing to him?" Lynx
"Easy Wild Cat she's a friendly and she's healing him like she did you and R.B.... Ken's in the usual spot... Go get him." Allana says as she releases her.
Lynx looks back at Power Surge before nodding and continues to walk down the hall. Using the wall she slowly makes it to the door at the end of the hall, opens it and sees Kenshin sitting on the floor at the center of a metal plated room. His legs crossed, no shirt or shoes but a long pair of black pants, back turned to the door and scars all over his body.
"You're supposed to be resting." Kenshin
"So I've been told." Lynx says then makes her way to sit in front of Kenshin.
"Sam healed up pretty quick then ran off to G.A. HQ. Stacey also called to check in." Kenshin
"What happened to you?" Lynx
Kenshin didn't respond right away. He took a deep breath, stares into Lynx's eyes and grins.
"Thought your first question was going to be how I broke the chains." Kenshin
"Jiyu, Meaning freedom. Its main use is to cut through dimensions which makes its abilities branch off into different multiple directions. I remember how your swords work ninja boy." Lynx
"Heheh.... When I got to the scene I saw bodies everywhere, I saw his hand around your neck and I.... I guess I just..." Kenshin
Lynx stares into Kenshin's eyes and feels the pain in his voice.
"On the verge of losing consciousness, I felt something that I haven't felt in a long, long time... Ironically the first time I felt something like that was when, I met Makoto." Lynx
"Heh! Yeah, mom has that kind of first impression." Kenshin says causing Lynx to laugh.
"Hey where's MJ?" Lynx
"Joo kind of had a near death experience and is currently recuperating.... I'll explain later." Kenshin
"...... Um... OK I, guess?... Hey you uh, mind feeling my head? I kinda feel like a fever is coming on." Lynx
Kenshin stretches his hand out for Lynx's forehead but, just before his hand touches she swiftly moves in up close and kisses Kenshin on his lips. It doesn't take long for the intensity to escalate. Her one hand presses against the back of his head while the other hand gently glides over his abdomen. His one hand rests on her upper back while the other hand caresses her back. Kenshin slowly leans on his back and Lynx follows by getting on top of him while they remain making love.
"And me without popcorn." Allana
Kenshin and Lynx pause simultaneously, they slowly look up at the door and see Allana leaning against the door frame with a small grin on her face.
"You're not in heat are you kitty cat?" Allana asks Lynx.
"Well ain't you full of cat jokes today." Lynx said sitting up straight.
"If only you knew.... There's food ready so let's go up up!" Allana
"I would but I can't, at the... Moment..." Lynx
"And why is that tom cat?" Allana
".... Let's just say, someone is really happy to see me." Lynx
"...... Well, you could've at least shut the door ya wild animals." Allana said just before she closes the door.
"...... Are you in heat?" Kenshin
Lynx's eyes avert down to meet Kenshin's and didn't answer. Allana walks back down the hallway, comes to Power Surge's room where she meets him just waking up.
"... Who're you and.. Why are you so gorgeous?" Power Surge asks as he sees Seraiah.
".. Did you not notice the color of my skin?" Seraiah
"Heh! Well in my line of work, you get used to the unnatural.. In fact, you'd say I'd.. Prefer it." Power Surge
"Hmm.. My name is Seraiah and I am a jinn. Its nice to meet you, Yakalix." Seraiah
"How... How'd you know that name?" Power Surge
".. When I heal someone I gain an understanding of their well being. Likes, dislikes, personality, name and secrets." Seraiah
"... Isn't that kind of like... Invading someone's personal, you know.. privacy?" Power Surge
"That would explain why your attitude changed the moment you finished healing tom cat. You learned a certain something about her and your master eh?" Allana
Seraiah and Power Surge look to see Allana leaning against the door frame. Seraiah didn't answer right away but instead averts her eyes.
"Hey Lany... What about who now?" Power Surge
"Be that as it may I have no control of what comes to my mind in the process and I will serve the one I acknowledge as my master until further notice!" Seraiah
"OK OK I was just stating an observation.. Don't turn red on me now." Allana
"... Another moment or so and I will be finished." Seraiah
"Alright I know when I'm not wanted. Food on the table downstairs when you get the chance. Get better Alix." Allana said before walking out.
Seraiah then calms down, closes her eyes and continues to focus her efforts.
".... So... Busy later?" Power Surge
Seraiah opens one eye, looks at Power Surge and couldn't help but let out a small grin.
