72. The Storm Incident

Allowing Charger to take his place on the voyage towards Oya, leaving both Sky and The Shogun to mentor the new recruits, Road Burn races off towards a certain individual and takes no breaks. Road Burn enters the state of Illinois where he notices a masssive black cloud being produced from the Willis Tower witch is known as the tallest building in the western hemisphere.

"That's funny. Don't remember seeing that in the brochure." Road Burn says then heads srraight for the Willis Tower.

Road Burn stops right behind a crowd of people in a safety zone that was made by the police and looks up to see the massive flames.

"We've evacuated most of the personnel on sight but there are still 33 unaccounted for! I repeat! 33 civilians still unaccounted for!" An officer says through the police radio.

"Oh no! They'll burn alive if they aren't found in time!" Civillian 1

"And the fire looks like its only getting worse!" Civilian 2

"This is a disaster in the making!" Civilian 3

"Meh.... Just another Tuesday for me." Road Burn

The people present turn their heads and instantly become shocked when their eyes meet Road Burn standing behind them looking up at the burning building. Road Burn then lowers his head so that his gaze is facing the crowd, a current of black and yellow electricity suddenly appears around his body, he winks then instantly races up and around the building. With every few seconds Road Burn finds one of the missing civillians along with the officers and firefighters looking for them and carries them down to the safe zones in the street below.

"28... 29...30...31..... Where's the other two?" Road Burn says as he speeds around the building.

"Look!" A civilian yells grabbing everyones attention including Road Burn's.

They all look up to see that the last 2 people are trapped in one of the multiple glass boxes built on the side of the building up on the 103rd floor. They also see that the glass box has broken halfway of off the building and is continuing to do so.

"Everyone get further back now!!" Road Burn

The crowd of people run further back just as the glass box completely breaks off from the building and plummets down. Road Burn's electric aura surges brighter and much fiercer. His eyes shine bright with the same color electricity and he immediately begins to run at an unprecedented speed in a circle where the glass box holding the civilians will impact. A tornado instantly forms, rises up and catches the falling glass box with the two people inside. The tornado slowly begins to shrink until the glass box is carefully placed on the ground but Road Burn didn't stop there. The second the glass box was safely placed on the ground is the exact moment that he races up and alongside the Willis Tower. Road Burn began to run around the building and created a reverse wind tornado witch sucks out the air in the building causing the enormous flames to wither away. Road Burn leaps into the air with his gaze set on the Willis Tower and a smile on his face.

"Dam I'm good!" Road Burn

The crowd below cheered to Road Burn's success, he waves and speeds off the moment he landed on a nearby building. East of Batavia, Illinois, The Fermi National Accelerator laboratory, also known as the Fermilab, houses the Tevatron witch is known as the second largest particle accelerator in the world was inactive in 2011 until the Guardian Alliance began its investments a year later. Ever since a man by the name of Dr. Lucas Parker took over the facility, the research of the different types of motion has been underway and has made multiple breakthroughs since the start of his research. Yet, Lucas hasn't slowed down since. Road Burns enters the facility while keeping his speed until he enters an open room where he meets a multiple number of people in white lab coats with their heads buried in their work each with black and red colored electricity surging around them. Road Burn calms his electrical aura, stares at the multiple bodies and takes a deep breath.
