After four days of doing nothing, the results of the audition were finally released. Okay, I was really curious. No, scratch that. I wasn't in my right senses. I couldn't imagine losing the job that I had bragged so much about to my parents.

The musical band had sent all the contestants a message as to where to check for the final list of those that would finally be accepted. Well, I wasn't ready to check that. I wasn't sure I would be able to handle the shock of not being employed.

Just then, the door bell rang. I walked slowly to the door and pulled it open to see Sharon. I rolled my eyes. She was the last person that I was expecting, judging by the fact that she could win an award for the best malice keeper. "Hello, running mouth", I said while staring at her, eye to eye.

"Are you done running your mouth?" she said, folding her arms across her chest.

"Look, just leave. I'm in no mood to fight with you. I have a billion things on my mind right now, so, excuse me", I said firmly.

"Sorry, okay? I know you have a right to be angry, but you don't have to be this angry. I mean, you're overreacting, Felicity."

"What am I supposed to do? Hug you? No, that's not-" I stopped when I felt my phone vibrate it my hand. I looked at Sharon. "Give me a minute." Not like I even wanted her to stay or something. I put on the phone and I noticed that I had a message. It was from the music band. The music band!

I just stared at the ID for a while, not wanting to read the message, yet. I just thought of the reasons why I had been messaged and know this, I was really scared. I looked at Sharon who was staring at me patiently, waiting for me to say something.

"The music band just sent me a message",I said even though I didn't really want to talk to her at that moment. One of her eyebrows quirked upwards questioningly. When I didn't say anything, she said, "What does the message say? "

"I haven't checked. Will you, huh... check on my behalf? I think I'll just die of shock if I check it myself. Please."

She nodded and collected the phone from my hand. I watched her as she clicked on the message and then, I held my throat, feeling much more scared and anxious than before. Then, I watched as her face turned pale, too pale. My breathing became irregular and my legs began to quiver. She looked up at me and shook her head sadly. "Sorry, Felicity."

Tears formed in my eyes immediately and within seconds, they began to flow down my cheeks. "W-what does it.. it.. say?" I stuttered.

Once again, she shook her head sadly. "I'm so sorry, Felicity."
