When I got to my room that night, I felt really light headed and wierd. Wierd because Michael was giving me the chills that I never felt or had before.

I jumped to my bed immediately, too tired to have a shower. Hardly had I laid down for five minutes than the door opened. I jumped, shocked.

"Elf?"

"Don't you know the basics, huh?" I yelled. "Knock before entering a person's room! What if I had been...no, just get out."

Mike smiled. "Yeah, I was going to do that, but I felt it was worthless. So I decided to barge in."

I stood up from my bed and ventured towards him. "No, listen to yourself talk. Do you think you're making any sense?"

"Okay. I'm sorry."

I rolled my eyes and tapped my foot impatiently on the ground. "Say what you are here to say within five minutes before I change my mind."

"Huh...you had the date?"

"Yes and how is that your business?"

He ran his hand through his hair and nodded. "And how was it?"

I frowned. What was he talking about? "How is that your business?"

"Yeah, it's not my business. I huh...just wanted to tell you that you looked pretty today...you know in the black gown...huh...yeah, I let that out, so am good."

I felt my cheeks heat up with shock. I knew I was damn right blushing, I mean, who wouldn't? Mike was commenting on my looks. That was a first. "Thanks."

He nodded and turned around. "I'll see you in the morning. Huh... remember, we have morning jogging to do."

I nodded, still shocked. Was this really Mike? He left and closed the door behind him, leaving me rooted to the spot. What was happening?

The rapping on my door the next morning had me up in no time. I frowned. Who was the person disturbing my sweet sleep this early? I looked at my table clock and almost screamed. It was just five in the morning!

Another knock on the door annoyed me to the bones. I stepped out of my bed and walked towards the door. I turned the handle and pulled it open.

"Baby, sorry for waking you up this early."

I blinked hard. He was sorry? I couldn't forgive him, seriously. "What are you doing here?" I rubbed my eyes sleepily, and for the first time, I noticed what he was wearing. I mean, it was ridiculous. He was dressed in a jersey, matching shorts with sneakers. I quirked up an eyebrow. "Michael, am I safe?"

"Good morning, gorgeous. How was your night?" he countered.

I snorted heavily. "As far as I'm concerned, it's still night. So, please leave."

"I thought you were jogging with Mike?"

I blinked, remembering. "Yeah, but isn't it too early?"

"Well, I'm surprised he hasn't come get you. He usually starts around this time."

"Well I'm here now", Mike said, emerging from one corner. He looked confused. "What are you doing here?"

"This is my room, duh", I said, shaking my head.

"No, I was talking to him."

"Oh. He's going jogging with us."

"Well, who said he could tag along?"

I shrugged. "Isn't jogging good for the body? He can join, can't he?"

Mike glared at me. "No, he's not joining us. I don't understand why you always jump into conclusions. You didn't even ask for my consent, and now, you're bringing in a third party. I invited you and it's only me that can invite anyone else. Am I clear?"
