I woke up the next day with my a very strong headache. I didn't have the best of all nights. Just thinking of what happened yesterday night made me sick. I glanced at the clock fixed on the wall and shrieked. It was twelve in the afternoon! When did I start to sleep in?

Hurriedly, I jumped out of the bed and made my way to the bathroom. What would they think of me now? A lazy girl who didn't know how to cook? I imagined them laughing at me, tears dripping down their eyes in mockery. I just brushed my teeth harder, angry at no one but myself.

When I was done, I put a robe round my body and rubbed my body with a nicely scented cream. Ruby had gotten me the everything that I needed yesterday. I put on a simple blue gown, tied my hair into a ponytail and shook my head, causing it to bounce sideways. Oh God, I loved my hair. I quit the childish act and walked towards the door.

Once I opened it, a gasp came out of my throat when I saw the amount of notes pasted on my door. I pulled them from the door and went back in to read them.

The first one I picked made me remember last night again. It was from Collins.

"Felicity, what happened yesterday is nothing. Just come out and have your breakfast. I knocked several times on your door, but you never answered. I would have broken in, but I didn't want to invade on your privacy. Call me when you read this. I'm really worried."

I sighed and read the next one. It was from Bailey. Oh God.

"Miss Adams have an, you really exceptional ability of getting me irked up twice in a day.

I paused to draw in a breath before reading on. She was angry no doubt.

...Colllins cooked food for you last night and since you didn't eat that, I had to throw it away. Today again, you refused to show up for breakfast. Now, what am I supposed to do with your food?"

I chewed on my bottom lip. I was I going to face this angry people? I picked up another one, from Micheal.

"I didn't see you at breakfast today. Don't miss lunch. Have fun."

At least, he wasn't angry. I stood up from my bed and walked out of my room, hoping that they hadn't eaten lunch. The moment I got to the door leading to the dining, I drew in a deep breath. Then, I turned the handle and pushed against it, causing it to give way. I gasped when I saw all of them seated. Then, their eyes were on me as if they had been expecting me.

Bailey was standing, glaring hard at me. "We have been waiting for you, miss."

I sighed. "I'm sorry."

She kept on looking at me, as if waiting for me to come up with an excuse, but I just stared, unsure of what to do.

"Sit down. I'll handle this later", she said, before leaving. I sat beside Scott and Thomas by my other side. It looked like they all had a personal chair.

Collins cleared his throat. "Let's pray briefly." We all bowed our heads and in no time, our heads were back up. They started to dig into their food hungrily. None of them said anything to me.

Sadly, I picked up my fork and picked a Swiss roll. I pour some chocolate cream on it. I then used the end of my fork to cut the roll into tiny pieces. That done, I began to put each bit in my mouth.

Once it reached my tongue, my eyes widened in surprise. It tasted so good that my eyes teared up, making me remember the ugly fact that I couldn't cook. I blinked hard and looked up to meet the gaze of Michael.

He dropped his fork silently. "Eat good food, lady. You skipped breakfast, one, you didn't eat anything but this same rolls yesterday, two, now you're eating the same rolls again, three. Do you want to die of malnutrition?"
