First things first..
I'm really really sorry for not updating in ages. I mean, that must have been so rude of me to you readers, but then, I can always make it up to you one way or the other.

Thanks for your patience...

My eyes fluttered open slowly. I blinked once, then twice. I heard someone gasp beside me. After some time, figures began to form in front of me. I saw a figure of someone clutching my hand, head close to mine and two other people were standing at the other side of me, their hands clutched together in a firm grip.

"Felicia, are you awake?"

I recognized that voice immediately. That was my mum! Wait, why was my mum here? Why was I on a bed? I blinked again and slowly, I began to see the people standing by me.

My eyes almost pooped out of their sockets when I saw my mum holding my other hand and my dad patting her back gently. Samuel was holding my hand tightly with his soft little hands, his eyes wide.

I pulled my hand out of his grasp and tried to sit up. My mum hurriedly pushed me back to the bed and sighed. "Thank God you are awake."

I frowned. "What happened?"

"Keep quiet, right now", my dad barked. "I should not have allowed you to leave for that silly music group. How are you even living your life? You fainted and those people you call team mates couldn't even take you to the hospital. I mean, that's rude. Instead, they called us and made us pick you up.

"Why would they do that?"

My dad scoffed. "Of course, you wouldn't remember. What did you tell that journalist?"

I frowned and tried to remember. Slowly, I began to remember what happened to me before I fainted. I clenched my fists until I felt my finger nails dig into my palms. Hot tears formed in my eyes and fell down my cheeks slowly. My breathing got really heavy and I wished I could just disappear.

"Felicity!"

I jumped. I knew that voice too. I looked towards the direction from which the voice came and when I saw the person, I felt my heart thump wildly against my chest.

"Scott." He believed in me. I could easily see that in his eyes. He nodded and ran towards me, gently pushing Samuel away. He held my hand and used the other hand to brush away stray curls from my head.

"Mike told me you fainted and so, I had to rush here immediately. I'm so sorry that I wasn't here on time."

"It's okay. I'm glad that at least someone believes that I didn't do it." More hot tears spilled down my cheeks as I remembered the way Collins had glared at me.

"Sir, stop making my sister cry. She started crying only when you came. Leave now", Samuel said firmly, his little finger pointing dangerously at Scott.

Scott wiped the tears of my cheeks and smiled at him. "I wiped the tears now, sweetheart. Are we good now?"

"No. Leave my sister alone."

"Samuel, don't be rude to the young man", my mom said hastily, glaring at him.

"But he's making my sister cry! Which kind of mom watches a wicked man torment her daughter?"

My eyes widened in shock. Where in God's name did he get the courage to speak that way?

My dad walked towards him and grasped his hand. "Excuse us, I need to teach my son some things." He looked at Scott for a moment before looking at me, his gaze lingering on me for a while.
