I remained like that for sometime, thinking, debating on whether or not to return what he was giving me.

Just as I decided to throw caution to the winds again and start kissing him back, after all, he was my boyfriend. Nobody said you couldn't kiss your boyfriend, right? I felt someone pull me with my free hand that had been about to go round Michael's neck.

I stood up immediately, surprised at the sudden jerk. I turned to look at the person that saved me again--Mike. What was he even doing here again? I thought he had lost his appetite.

Michael stood up immediately, our hands still joined together. He looked at Mike with so much anger that I couldn't help but shiver with fear. I think he felt it because, he looked at me, softening his look before turning back to Mike who still held my other hand.

"Why don't you like to mind you business, Mike? Don't you know how rude it is to interrupt in some people's  moment of intimacy? That time you ruined was for a purpose. I was going to find out something, before you annoyingly butted in."

"I thought we had a meeting in my room after breakfast?" Mike asked me, totally ignoring him.

"She is busy with me, dude. I'm her boyfriend and you can't just call her over without my permission. She's mine, get that now into your oblong head."

This time, Mike laughed. "Boyfriend, you? Well, that's lame, because I have never heard of something so ridiculous."

If not for me tightening my hold on Micheal's hand, I'm sure he would have used his fist on him at that moment. To make him calmer, I pulled my hand  away from Mike's grip.

That worked instantly. Michael pulled me towards himself and put his arms around me in a hug. "Babe, I have to leave now. Let's meet by five for the date.  Dress casual."

I nodded and pulled back, smiling at him. I heard Mike hiss before finally leaving the room, slamming the door again.

Michael looked at the door for a while before looking at me. "Baby, don't ever look at me as being weak, please. I'll protect you even if that's the last thing I do."

Why was he saying that? "Uh..okay."

He kissed my cheeks. "Don't think I'm a kissing freak either, especially now that I just stared dating you. It's just that I can't stop, because you are so beautiful. It actually hurts when you dont--"

"I was about to when he came in", I said quickly, not wanting to feel worse than I already did.

His face brightened and he rubbed his forehead nervously. "I can't wait, baby. For our first real kiss."

I shuddered at his bluntness. "Oh."

"I'll see you at five."

I nodded and watched as he walked away. When he was about to leave, he turned back and smiled at me, which I returned out of politeness.

He chuckled. "I never ever thought you'd say yes to me. Thanks for the opportunity, love."

The way he said it made it seem as if I just agreed to his proposal. I just managed a smile for him and nodded.
He nodded back and left, finally.

I grabbed a pancake with my fork and ate greedily. Gosh, these guys didn't know how happy food made me, instead they kept on blabbing about relationships and nonsense. I almost choked at the thought that I had kissed...nah, Micheal had kissed me more than twice already. I mean, what was I turning into? Where was the Felicity that always looked forward to kissing someone she loved?

I put more pancakes in my mouth greedily. When I had eaten to my full, I dabbed my mouth with a towel, drank some water and then went out. I began to walk towards Mike's room and when I got there, I knocked softly on the door.
