I told Sharon everything that happened between Michael and I and when I was done, she really talked to me.

"Hey, I'm yet to understand you. Why will you date someone you don't like? In fact, this is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. You are breaking up with him first thing tomorrow morning."

"You make it sound so easy."

"That's because it is really easy."

"I really don't know anymore."

I checked the time on my table clock and sighed. It was six o'clock. I had only slept for two hours or thereabout. I hugged Sharon tighter. I was really glad that she was here. I would have probably died of sadness if not for her.

We talked late into the night and it was good. We laughed and cried together.

Just then, someone knocked on the door. I frowned. Mike was probably going jogging again. I quietly slipped from the bed and tiptoed to the door to avoid waking Sharon.

I opened the door to see Mike as expected. "Look, I'm tired today. I'm not in the jogging mood."

"I'm not either, so, you have no excuse", he said quietly.

I was about to shut the door in his face when he stepped in. "Let's leave now or I'll make a noise and wake your sister up."

I glared at him. "You'll do no such thing."

"Watch me, elf."

He opened his mouth to say something, but I quickly covered his mouth with my hand. "Okay. She's tired and I don't want to wake her."

"So, are we--"

"Yes", I said angrily.

He smiled. "Let's leave."

"I need to change into something sporty."

He raised up his hand. "No. You're okay." He pulled me out of the room and closed the door gently behind him.

"Let me grab a sweater then. It's cold outside."

He shook his head again. Then, to my greatest shock, he removed his and gave it to me. "Wear that."

"No."

"Why?"

"You'll get cold too."

He shrugged and put the sweater in my hand. "Now, elf."

I reluctantly wore it. I breathed in his scent and felt my head lighten. It had a woody scent that I liked. I noticed a smile curve his lips. "It suits you."

I blushed. "Let's leave now."

He nodded and we walked out of the dorm together. We started our jogging from one corner. It wasn't long before I got tired and stopped.

He chuckled. "Weak vessel."

"Shut up." I sat down on the grass and watched as he settled beside me.

"I feel like I haven't done anything."

"You can continue. I'll just go inside."

"Why were you crying yesterday?" All of a sudden, his voice became serious.

"None of your business." I twirled a strand of my hair around my finger and looked straight ahead.

"I was expecting that."

"Can't we just go back inside?"

He shook his head. "No, not yet. What did Michael say to you yesterday?"
